Prime location; central to all popular local eateries and attractions. Diverse breakfast buffet menu. Also: the room cleaning staff were very attentive, and forthcoming in the execution of their work.

I loved the simplicity and practicality of the room. I absolutely loved the art around the hotel, the colour... stunning. I loved that the room allowed me to see outside.

Je met un point juste pour l’emplacement et la chambre qui est plutôt belle
Le personnel est totalement désagréable! Tous! Aucun sourire, aucun accueil, aucun service client. On rentre au petit déjeuner pas de bonjour ni sourire juste un “numéro de chambre?”. Cet hôtel n’a aucune hospitalité et si vous devez solliciter le personnel vous serez mal accueilli. Vous n’êtes pas un invité mais un simple numéro.
Staff friendly, nice restaurants beside. Breakfast was fine but not worth the extra cost.
Had to be moved to another room, had to get the sheets replaced here too.
Initial room had these issues:
Complementary water bottle was green at the bottom from mould/algae.
Bed sheets and pillows stained and hair all over the mattress protector. Towels, robes all stained. No soap in the dispenser in shower.
Large X in tape on the window.
Found cockroach in the replacement room on second night.

No bidet. For a 4-star hotel in 2026, no bidet sprays or washlet toilets in the rooms is a miss.
For guests who like to be thoroughly clean, this isn't a luxury upgrade - it's basic hygiene. Having to carry a portable bidet as a workaround is inconvenient. This alone drops the rating significantly.
Pool not heated. Johannesburg in June is winter. The rooftop pool looks great in photos but it's freezing cold - not usable for 8 months of the year without heating. If you're marketing rooftop pool experience, heat it. Otherwise it's just expensive real estate with cold water.
Verdict: Good value for the location and price after a week-long stay. But bring your own travel bidet and skip the pool. For a hotel at this level, these two basics should be non
