Very enjoyable and restful
Pros:

The staff seem keen to ensure that one enjoys one's stay. The bedroom was comfortable and contained touches that showed attention to detail. My brother and I enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated the many different options.

Excellent. Lovely pub and super friendly staff. The evening meal was really good too.
Pros:

Plenty of choice and the service was brilliant

Cons:

Awful scrambled egg on very wet toast....suspect a microwave was involved. Everything else was fine, though.

Pros:

Very good breakfast, as was the supper. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking.

Cons:

Sloping ceiling in room meant you had to be very careful not to bang ones head, and made the room seem cramped.

Just what I needed and would definitely stay there again without hesitation
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent - fresh and piping hot. Service throughout from all the staff was excellent, polite and friendly. I can also recommend the evening meals especially the sticky toffee pudding.

Cons:

Can't think of anything - everything was as good as it could be. The only downside was the traffic outside on the main road which was noisy if you had the window open, but only a minor point and outside of the hotel's control.

Pros:

Superb food, great room and staff.
Pros:

I had an evening meal here - the best sausage and mash I've ever had! I had to leave at 7.30 in the morning when breakfast starts and I ordered a sandwich to take away instead. It was ready on the dot and was absolutely superb. Room was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. What a lovely place. Would be happy to return.

Cons:

I couldn't get hot water from the shower - only lukewarm. I don't think it was me...

Pros:

It was clean and had comfortable bedrooms. The shower and bathroom were good.

Cons:

The food was not very good. Both meat and vegetable burgers were thin. The cheese topping was like cheap supermarket slices, fries were cooked to death, just greasy sticks with no fluffy potatoes. I did not enjoy the burger.
English breakfast was average. This spoiled the overall experience.

Pros:

we have stayed here twice before as it is convenient for visiting relatives but this time we had an overnight stay on way up to North Yorkshire. It is spotlessly clean very comfortable & good quality throughout,.The food is excellent & the staff are very helpful & friendly.

Lovely place to stay and staff where good
Pros:

Lovely place and food was very good, found the ear plugs funny, but not needed enjoyed the music

Cons:

The room was so hot and not sure why! But fan in room helped cool down.

Pros:

Lovely room and very comfortable bed. Good size and had everything we needed. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast and were able to accommodate for gluten free. Great to be able to park on site.
