Spacious suites, great location but suites in need of total renovation.
Pros:

The location is very convenient. You can walk to the wharfs of Newport and watch the July 4th fireworks right from your balcony.

Cons:

The interior of the apartment was very dated. The bathrooms in particular need an entire renovation. The ceilings in the bathrooms are so low one hits their head when walking into the tub.

Clean & comfortable 3* hotel in a great location.
Pros:

The location was very convenient. There was plenty of parking and we could leave our car and walk into town. We had small kids with us aged 5 and 6 and they could manage the walk without difficulty. The apartment was very spacious, well-arranged and clean. It had a nice view overlooking the pool area and beyond that, the harbour. The beds were comfortable. There was a whirlpool bath which was a real treat! The pool area was decent with plenty of recliners & towels were provided at reception. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Just minor points. The aircon was extremely loud and rattled. We switched it off overnight because it was so noisy. The fixtures and fittings & carpet in the apartment were a bit tired-looking (although everything worked and was clean & well-maintained). We had to set up the sofa-bed ourselves for the children when we arrived late at night.

Great stay!
Pros:

I love coming and staying at the Wellington. The location is 100% and the views from the balcony are just amazing.

It’s a smidge dated inside the rooms! But still very clean and very functional

The rooms are so spacious. That was a pleasant surprise. Views off the back deck and the pool

Cons:

I wouldn’t say there’s was anything we didn’t like. It was kept up very well. Everywhere was clean

Amazing location and staff
Pros:

The view was absolutely breathtaking. We were very lucky with our room selection which gave us a view of the whole bay .
The size of the apartment was huge and worked very well for 2 couples .
Staff were brilliant very helpful . Pool was super and gym very well equipped

Cons:

The furniture and decor were a bit tired but perfectly fine
