Pros:

We attended an event at Fox Theater, and loved the fact how we didn't have to move our vehicle once we were there. We was able to walk literally across the street. It was in walking distance to cvs and where we ate after the event. Definitely will book again.

Cons:

No complaints

Breakfast with Kyle and Adrian
Pros:

Kyle and Adrian at the Element Midtown are a true ray of sunshine.
Both of them are so friendly and go above and beyond for every guest.
Adrian even took the time to chat with me about my son's move to Atlanta and gave me great advice about the community. This kind of genuine kindness is rare - highly recommend, and hope you get to meet them during your stay!

Nice Midtown Hotel
Pros:

Nice hotel in good location near subway and local bars and restaurants. Very nice hotel for pricepoint.

Cons:

Arrived late and nightshift staff member was quite abrupt as if we were somewhat of an inconvenience to her night. When we asked if there was anywhere local showing the World Cup and serving food she said she didnt think so. Turned out there was a bar across the road doing both! On checkout next day staff member charged us again for our room despite having already paid thru Booking.com in advance. Have had to claim this back.

The worst experience!
Pros:

I would stay away from this property. I am Platinum member and this is without a doubt the worst experience in 20+ years. Firstly, upon arrival I was greeted with a what do you want look. Secondly you are charged for parking and may or may not be able to utilize it because it is across the street from the Fox Theater and they over sell parking spots (I was informed, it is owned by a third party). Thirdly, DO NOT EXPECT to eat gluten free here. Finally, the area is not the safest, it is next to bus stop and appears to be a lot of homeless people around. When I addressed these with the operations manager, they gave me 5,000 points, which does not cover the $90 I was charged for parking.

Returning Guests
Pros:

We recently traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, from July 9–11 to attend Jill Scott's To Whom This May Concern Tour. We chose to stay at the Element by Marriott Midtown again because of the outstanding experience we had during our visit in June 2025. In addition to the exceptional service, the hotel's location—directly across the street from the Fox Theatre—makes it the perfect choice for attending events.

During check-in, we were happy to reconnect with front desk associate Starr and Manager Alecia Smith. After settling into our original room (1118), we discovered that the air conditioning was blowing hot air. I contacted the front desk, and Alecia responded promptly by upgrading us to room 1215 as a service recovery. The new room was excellent, with a beautiful view, and we truly appreciated her quick resolution and commitment to guest satisfaction.

After getting ready for the evening, we enjoyed dinner and drinks at the Ponce Room Bar, where we were delighted to see our wonderful bartender, Cassandra, and Food & Beverage Manager, Cathy. Their warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcomed and added to an already memorable stay.

We would like to recognize Starr, Alecia, Cassandra, and Cathy for going above and beyond to make our trip so enjoyable. Their professionalism, friendliness, and exceptional customer service are the reasons we continue to choose Element by Marriott Midtown whenever we visit Atlanta. We look forward to returning again soon.

Element of Disappointment
Pros:

My son and I desperately needed a hotel last Sunday night after our flight was one of dozens of cancelled flights and Charles was wonderful to help us secure a room for the night. After a 12+ hour travel day, we checked in at about 2am. To say we were exhausted would be a huge understatement after the chaos we went through. When we got to our room, the beds were stripped, comforters strewn on the couch, pillows piled on one bed and no linens in the bathroom. Furthermore, the surfaces needed to be dusted, the bathroom needed to be disinfected, the floors needed to be vaccumed and mopped and obvioulsy the bed needed to be made and linens stocked in the bathroom. Given our exhaustion level, we laid the comforters down with pillows underneath the comforter at our heads and wrapped ourselves as if we were in a sleeping bag. We had an early flight so at 615am I went downstairs for towels and explained what we experienced to Charles. Obviously, he apologized and asked why we didn’t come back down. I told him that I tried calling but he didn't answer and we were too tired to bring our belongings down for a new room. He gave me towels and I went upstairs to get ready for our departure. While grateful for the room, I cannnot excuse the dirtiness or the room being put back into inventory.
