I would personally like to leave a review for Hossein. He took such great care of me during my stay. He came to clean my room 2–3 times a day. Even when I told him it wasn’t necessary because the room was already clean, he would still come by to make sure everything was perfect.
You can really see how hard Hossein works, putting in 12+ hour days to make sure all the guests are happy and well taken care of. His dedication, kindness, and excellent service truly deserve to be recognized.
I’m very happy with the hotel and the staff overall, but Hossein deserves an extra special compliment. Thank you for everything, Hossein! ⭐️
We’ve just come to the end of a two week stay at this wonderful property as a family of 4, two children aged 8 and 12.
I’m not sure I can fit in all the positive things I would like to say into one review. From the moment you turn onto the drive leading up to the hotel you know that this property is special. The hotel itself looks over the beautiful bay with the most stunning stretch of beach filled with wonderful marine life.
We had booked a suite but were very, very fortunate to be upgraded to a two bedroom pool Villa. Wow!The rooms were beautifully appointed with every amenity you could wish for. The beds were incredibly comfortable, firm but not too hard and you could select your pillows.
The beautiful living room and huge sofa meant that we could spend some evenings as a family watching a film together and playing games. The pool area came in very handy for a quiet afternoon away from the crowds, especially on weekends when the hotel felt busier with local guests. Having said this, given it was low season the hotel did not ever feel too busy or crowded. You could always find preferred sunbeds either at the beach or around one of the pools. The adult pool was exquisite, with Cabanas available that did not require a reservation and I saw on several occasions the lifeguards reinforcing the adult only policy.
Now onto what I feel was the particular strength of this hotel: the service! From the pool attendants, to the waiting staff, the restaurant Managers (Peridot in particular!) to housekeeping, to the water sports staff, to our Butler Deepak and absolutely every member of staff that we came into contact with (too many to name- I’m sorry!), their service was absolutely faultless. We were always greeted with a smile and treated like royalty! Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming, anticipating our needs before even we became aware of them!
The food at all the restaurants was exceptional. My husband has allergies and food intolerances and the staff were always liaising and communicating with him about what he should avoid. All the staff were aware of the allergies at all times which was very reassuring. The buffet had everything you could desire and the quality was exceptional. Our only suggestion would be that it would have been lovely to have more live music in the evenings or some children’s entertainment like an outdoor cinema for example, but I appreciate that it was low season and incredibly hot outside so this may not be possible in Summer months!
Oman is a beautiful, authentic country and that is certainly represented throughout this stunning Jumeirah property. We are so sad to leave and already looking forward to our next visit. The hotel managers should be incredibly proud of all their staff, who surely turn an already wonderful property into a truly exceptional one. Until next time, inshallah!

The breakfast every morning was a disaster(. Noisy, chaotic... Very bad.

The only shock was that the pool was under maintenance, while the other pool was small and had a damaged floor.
This hotel is worth recommending. The staff is amazing and always ready to help. The pool never lets you get bored. You simply feel well taken care of. What's more, the weather here is perfect, better than in the Emirates.

We’ve had the most amazing stay at Jumeirah Muscat Bay! From the minute we arrived, everything has been perfect. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the location is stunning and the views are just incredible. It’s such a lovely, peaceful resort but there’s still so much to do.
The rooms are gorgeous, really spacious and kept absolutely spotless. The facilities are brilliant too - the pools are beautiful, the beach is lovely and there are plenty of places to relax. The kids club was also fantastic and our little one really enjoyed it, which made it so much easier for us to relax and enjoy the hotel too.
Everyone has been so friendly, welcoming and helpful, and nothing has ever been too much trouble. You can really tell that the staff genuinely care about making sure you have a good experience.
A special mention has to go to Hossain, who looked after our room. He was absolutely amazing! He cleaned our room to perfection every single day and always went out of his way to make sure everything was just right for us. He was so thoughtful and attentive and really made a difference to our stay. He is a real credit to the hotel and deserves a special thank you!
We’ve genuinely loved every minute of our stay and would 100% come back. Jumeirah Muscat Bay is a beautiful hotel with amazing facilities, fantastic staff and the perfect setting. We couldn’t recommend it enough! ❤️
