Very clean and well managed

Overall this was a great place to stay on the way to Destin Fort Worth airport. Clean, comfortable and modern.

Phenomenal staff and clean rooms!

This did not meet my expectations as a Hilton gold member. I had requested extra towels in my room 3 weeks before when making my reservation before I arrived at the hotel. Our room was a king bed and the size of the room was smaller than my college dorm room. There was no closet in this room just a couple of pegs on the wall and some hangers on a bar above the mini fridge. The bathroom shower was dirty and did not look like it was cleaned. When we got to our room upon arrival, I went downstairs and asked for some extra towels because we wanted to shower that night and also in the morning. The front desk informed us they were out of bath towels until the next day. I thought they were joking but they were not. The next morning when we left the hotel to go on our way I asked the front desk to put some towels in a plastic bag and put it on her door when they were available. The front desk looked at me on and said can't you get them when you come back and I said I won't be back until late. I told the person that they were out of towels the night before and I said this was an excusable and they said this was a new problem. I highly doubt that because of my entire stay it was impossible to get any towels. Later that day they provided a few towels in a bag on my door in the evening. The next day we asked for more towels from the maid staff in the hall. But she did not speak any English and unfortunately did not speak any German, French or English which I all speak. I just could not believe that the 80 room hotel could not have enough personnel to do laundry so guests could have towels during the stay. I was informed that laundry does not get done overnight, and so there would be no doubles for the maid the next day when making up the room or changing rooms. This was insane because this is near the beach, and people need towels, specially when it's 90° plus outside. If I didn't need to be at this location because of family matters I would have chosen a different hotel. Please be advised that the amount of points I had to spend on these three nights for this hotel was 30,000 points more than I had to spend for five nights in Orlando at a higher-tiered Hilton hotel which was a suite. Breakfast was pretty bad, so we had to go out to eat, but OJ was tollerable to take at the next restaurant on the go. We ran out of hand soap during our multi night stay and there was nobody that we could ask to refill it, because the maids only clean on certain day. Again, if you ran across a maid, they can't speak English. The bed mattress was very uncomfortable and the sheets were low quality. The TV was nice and worked. To top off my aggravation level, just as I was about to get in the shower the fire alarm went off. Fortunately it stopped after several minutes.
