Super friendly staff. Hotel was clean and organized. Near perfect experience.

Cons:

Because this is a question here, here is an answer. Initial room’s a/c was not working. For me that was not a problem because we got moved to a different room.

Overcharged and no hot water
Pros:

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

Hot water did not work, no trash bags in cans in the room. Mostly though I was told I’d pay one thing on booking.com but was charged over $50 more, NOT including the hold on card.

A disappointing stay this time
Pros:

I love this Cambria. It is one of our favorites and we stay here 5-6 times a year. The beds are VERY comfortable, lots of hot water, the team is USUALLY very nice and the bar and restaurant are really good. Effie at the front desk was absolutely great!

Cons:

This visit last night was really disappointing. We checked in and everything was great until this morning. I was trying to make coffee and every time I plugged in the coffee maker it flipped a breaker and we lost lights. Not a big deal so I went downstairs to get coffee at the bar and encountered one of the rudest team members in a hotel that I have EVER experienced in my 71 years. There was no coffee in the dispenser so after standing at the bar for 3-4 minutes with no attention I said "excuse me, can I get a couple of cups of coffee?" Without turning around she said" you are going to have to wait a minute". A few minutes later I asked for her name and she replied " you are going to have to wait ". She was slamming doors, ignoring other customers, just rude. A gentleman asked for coffee and she replied, without even looking at him, it is on the other side! In a loud, frustrated voice he said where is the other side?. She didn't answer. When I finally got the coffee I went to the front desk and asked Effie to please tell me the name of the girl working the bar. Her name was Victoria. A definite detriment to the team and the Cambria
