Fantastic room and location
Pros:

Upon arrival we were informed of a free upgrade to our room which was fantastic! The room was spacious and clean with a lovely cosy feel.

No complaints at all - staff were friendly and the room and location were brilliant

Excellent room, just let down by no water from hot tap in bathroom sink

Cons:

There was no water in the hot tap in bathroom sink, so therefore had to boil kettle for hot water for wash.

Pros:

A very central location. Incredibly helpful young staff. Comfortable bed - not king-size, but large enough. Nice bathroom. Hot shower.

Cons:

Nothing - yes, there is a little noise from the bar below, but if you want, ear plugs are provided.

Great Place IF you are traveling light. Americans beware of the parking

Property was in the heart of the Exeter shopping district had and super cool vibe. It was really close to the Exeter Phoenix club where our friends the Billy Walton Band were playing. Great shopping area and lots of good places to eat…especially The Ship. Room was comfortable and had a hip vibe.

Cons:

Parking is a nightmare. They don’t tell you that they are on a pedestrian only street. You can’t even drop your luggage off. The closest parking garage Ring Go doesn’t like American phone numbers and there was no person OR kiosk. Parking payment MUST happen through the app or by calling. Calling was a nightmare and took us almost 90 minutes to park as the automated voice recognition does not work well. Do not stay here if you have 2 weeks of luggage for your travels.

Also the shower flooded. The designer who thought that only glassing half a shower for astetics ….was dumb.

Pros:

Central location. Well kept boutique rooms. Tidy and comfy, warm room.

Cons:

Being located above a pub, there was a small amount of noise coming off the streets however really nothing the pub could do, and easily fell asleep and was no real issue

A charming and comfortable room in a great location and a fabulous and historic building — though a tad noisy on a rowdy
Pros:

The Turks Head was a gorgeous old building, and my room was comfortable and nicely set-up. The bedroom was extremely atmospheric and cute, and the bathroom was lovely. The location of the property is great, in the heart of town, and it was excellent value for money.

Cons:

Unfortunately I chose a Saturday night which had a major sporting match on, so it was a somewhat noisy night — though the Turks Head thoughtfully provided both an eye mask and ear plugs. It would also have been helpful to include directions on how to use the Nespresso machine for those of us who’ve never encountered one before!
