Ideal location right in the town centre in a wonderful old pub.
Pros:

"Boutique" rooms above a super old pub with its own brewery! Room was spacious, comfortable bed, all the necessary facilities like hair dryer, iron and board, kettle and coffee maker. Nice modern bathroom and shower. The location was perfect, just round the corner from the cathedral and shopping area, with plenty of other pubs and restaurants nearby. Very good value.

Cons:

No breakfast available but otherwise it was ideal.

Exceptional staff, beautiful facilities, tasteful decor and a very comfortable stay
Pros:

Well considered, great amenities, exceptional staff and wonderful food. Accommodation is spacious, well laid out, modern and beautifully decorated. Lots of considerate finishing touches. We would absolutely stay again in a heartbeat

Pros:

Extrem gute Lage, typischer englischer Charme mit engem Treppenhaus und schiefen Böden. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Man muss am Wochenende mit etwas Geräuschkulisse aus der Fußgängerzone rechnen (Oropax ist aber vorhanden 😉). Tolles, großes Pub!

Pros:

Location wise the hotel was absolutely spot on.
Did know in advance rooms were quite noisy from previous reviews. Did stop at 11pm.
Room was well equipped with everything however for the price thought it could have been a little more on the cleaner side!

Pros:

Location is very convenient, centre of Exeter , It’s a lively Pub attracting a young Crowd , Staff are Friendly and Helpful , Showers work well , Towels and Bedlinen nice and fresh , No Fridge for Milk unfortunately, Nice and warm Radiator, Room 3 is a good size , Take Snack for Breakfast as no Food on site in the morning , No overnight Staff , Nice and quiet after the Pub closes , No lift , Steep stairs , Building has lots of History and Character , Beer was good too ,

Cons:

Menu was limited for Vegetarians especially in the Evening,
