Location is very convenient, centre of Exeter , It’s a lively Pub attracting a young Crowd , Staff are Friendly and Helpful , Showers work well , Towels and Bedlinen nice and fresh , No Fridge for Milk unfortunately, Nice and warm Radiator, Room 3 is a good size , Take Snack for Breakfast as no Food on site in the morning , No overnight Staff , Nice and quiet after the Pub closes , No lift , Steep stairs , Building has lots of History and Character , Beer was good too ,
Menu was limited for Vegetarians especially in the Evening,

The staff were really kind and welcoming. We're staying at top floor which was super cosy. The room was clean, warm and everything we need was prepared. We’ll definitely be returning!

Superb pub, with detached authentic accommodation. Beautifully presented and the bathroom was bigger than the Hotel Indigo.

Bathroom did have a damp smell, shower not great when my husband used it but okay when I used it later . ? Timing of others using at the same time hence not much water pressure.

Large and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Rooms have separate entrance from the pub. Very central location. Interesting old building, well maintained.
Just be aware the accommodation is room only, there are no breakfast facilities. Although cafes are within a short walk.
Perfectly situated to visit everything the city centre has to offer, We had the small double but it was still a big room with a very comfy bed & fabulous shower, Loved it.
We had to climb all the way to the top of the steap narrow stairs to get to that particular room (but it was also the cheapest so it wasnt really an issue). The Coffee machine didn't seem to work, although there were no instructions.
Great ataff, very clean room and comfy bed with superb bathroom.
Nothing, although the stairs up to the room make this unsuitable if you struggle to climb more than a flight.
