Pros:

Sivana is a peaceful paradise by the sea in the otherwise somewhat noisy Tulum hotel area. The beach is nice, did I say the room was quiet, that is true unless you do not like the sound of the ocean.

Cons:

I did not give full points on the tidiness for just one reason that one could remedy. The bathroom had a smell, but one can remedy it by letting the water run long enough.

Everything looks old and dirty( There aren’t enough staff to keep property clean. The sofas and lounge chairs on the beach are dirty and stained. The towels and bed linen in the room don’t look fresh and kitchen in the room is in poor condition. The restaurant at the hotel was closed, every day I had to go somewhere even for breakfast . There were problems with hot water in the room every day . I paid 2700 American dollars for 1 week for a small room . For that price there were many better options nearby, even cheaper. I think if there were more staff, everything could be fixed and this place would be wonderful.

Sivana Hotel Tulum – Great stay, peaceful beachfront vibe
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at Sivana. The beds had mosquito nets, which is a huge plus in Tulum — bugs are unavoidable, and this made sleeping much more comfortable. The little foot-wash tub outside the room was such a thoughtful touch after coming back from the beach.

The showers heated up well, the WiFi was strong, and being right on the beach was amazing. Easy beach access and the beach beds were incredibly comfortable — perfect for relaxing.

The staff was truly welcoming and kind, which made the stay even better. The room had both a fan and AC, so you could choose what felt best.

The location is ideal if you want to be close to everything but away from the chaos. Matcha Mama is nearby, there are cute shops next door, a food truck park close by, and an amazing local quesadilla stand across the street. Everything was walkable.

Parking was easy and open, so we could come and go freely. I also appreciated that you can leave your room key at the front desk so you don’t have to worry about losing it.

Overall, a peaceful, comfortable, and well-located stay. Would absolutely return.

Note: Bring your own towels — we forgot and they don’t provide them.

Très cher pour ce que c’est, nous avions la chambre en rez proche de la réception, baies vitrées qui ne fermait pas il a dû mettre un bâton pour la bloquer…Chambre très petite, coffre fort ne fonctionnait pas, bouilloire ne fonctionnait pas, porte de la salle de bains qui bloquait.
Nous ne nous sommes pas senties en sécurité,la porte de la chambre n’avait pas de sécurité supplémentaires. Personnel pas très sympathique.

Fantastischer Ort mit umwerfenden Beach room with view!

Alles! Wir haben als fünfköpfige Familie drei Nächte über Weihnachten in zwei Zimmern diese sehr sympathische Unterkunft genossen. Der Beach Room ist ein Traum, das 3-er Zimmer in der Anlage war ebenfalls nett. Zu fünft bot uns der Beach Room auf der Terrasse und mit der Sitzecke im Raum genug Platz, um auch mal abends für Drinks und Snacks zusammen zu sitzen oder um tagsüber gemeinsam zu chillen. Der Strand bei Sivana ist auch super. Alles ist recht klein, daher familiär und nett gehalten, selbst eine Sitzecke draußen mit Weihnachtsbaum und Piñata bot gemütlich Platz zum Zusammensitzen. Der Ausblick des Beach Room ist einfach umwerfend, der Dekostil ist wunderbar. Wir hätten uns keine bessere Unterkunft in Tulum wünschen können! Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die den großen Resorts entkommen, aber dennoch direkt am Strand in Tulum übernachten möchten. Und der Beach Room with view (es gibt nur eine direkt mit Blick auf Strand) ist jeden Peso wert. Danke für diese superschöne Zeit im Sivana.

Un gran lugar
Pros:

La vista y la ubicación era genial. Usamos la habitación con vista al mar y nos encantó. Tiene una vista linda para ver el amanecer sin si quiera levantarte jeje. La relación calidad/precio es justa y quedan cerca lugares de interés (en la zona hotelera) y restaurantes. (El hotel de al lado tiene un restaurante lindo y rico)

Não vale o valor cobrado e o conforto é precário.
Pros:

Do atendimento do staff e dos animais de estimação (a Grena (cachorrinha) e o Felipe (gato) são lindos!). O pessoal de apoio são solistas e nos deixaram muito a vontade, ajudando com tudo que podiam. Ele fizeram a diferença.

Cons:

O lugar é rústico. Acredito que atenda pessoas que gostam deste tipo de aventura, mas eu e a minha esposa, sempre buscamos por lugares que tragam conforto, por mais simples que sejam e infelizmente, não foi o que ocorreu com o Sivana. A água do chuveiro , na primeira noite, não esquentava por nada! No dia seguinte sim, mas adianto que a água é salgada. O quarto que ficamos, apesar de ser o mais caro, não tinha ar condicionado e passamos calor, porque a temperatura estava na casa dos 32ºC e o wi-fi não estava fincionando. Também não tem café da manhã, ou qualquer outro tipo de alimento (somente bananas)… Resumo: pagamos por duas noites e só ficamos uma. Decidimos ir para outro hotel.
Como eu havia comentado, pode ser que agrade quem gosta deste tipo de hospedagem (mais ruts, ao extremo), mas eu não voltaria.
