Close to the airport. Friendly staff.
When I checked in to my hotel they told me I had already paid. I didn’t question it because sometimes I prepay and sometimes I don’t. They then called out to my room 30 mins later saying whoops you actually didn’t pay. They told I needed to come down and pay or they could send someone up to my room. As a woman traveling alone I thought it was weird they would even offer to come up to my room. I went down to pay and they took 15 mins to figure out how much I was supposed to pay. The room was clearly a smoking room and smelled terrible. I had them schedule a taxi to leave super early in the morning for the airport the next day. When I showed up downstairs no taxi was scheduled and we had to start from scratch. Not great.
Great clean place
We stayed here on our trip to Serengeti. It’s extremely close to the airport and convent for trip into Stonetown.

Close to the airport. Clean and friendly staff. No complaints with check in or check out. Good restaurant and free breakfast is varied.
We are currently cycling around the world ( from Australia) The staff were wonderful and did an amazing job helping us to pack our bikes for our flight. A big shout out to Asha and Gift for everything! The rooms were quiet and beds comfy. A bit challenging to work out light switches though. The swimming pool was huge ! Just a quick mention that there’s no bar at the hotel so we got a taxi into stone town which wasn’t a problem for us.
Good location for an early morning departure. Unfortunately the service and facilities were lacking. Upon informing the front desk about no hot water when showering, there was no recourse instead just a laugh. Furthermore when trying to checkout and pay our bill, their credit machines were not working delaying us nearly 20 minutes and cutting our airport check in close. Experienced much better accommodation and service at other properties in Zanzibar.
Great hotel for the price.
Clean property. Close to the airport. Their website says "Complimentary Shuttle" but none of the staff is aware of that and charge $10 for the transfer to the airport.

It’s perfect
Fantastic hotel near the airport. It was a bit far from the city center though. We went by taxi and that was okay. The hotel was so calm and nice that we wanted to spend the time there instead of the busy streets. The rooms and area around the hotel was clean. The staff was super friendly and made our stay very good. Cant think of anything to complaint about.

Very nice and clean property. The staff was very nice. There is not a free airport shuttle as it says on the hotel description. There is an outside company that they call which was good and it costs $10.
