Amazing Hotel! We’ve NEVER had a bad experience. Absolutely beautiful, safe, clean, convenient and the hotel staff is FANTASTIC!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at The Tess! From the moment I walked in, the hotel felt luxurious and thoughtfully designed. The floor-to-ceiling windows filled the space with beautiful natural light and offered incredible views of the city. It created such a relaxing and upscale atmosphere.

One of my favorite parts of the stay was the shower. It was spacious, beautifully designed, and even the shower gel smelled incredible. It was one of those little details that made the experience feel even more elevated.

Breakfast was delicious, and the rooftop restaurant was truly a highlight. Enjoying an amazing meal while overlooking the Atlanta skyline was an unforgettable experience. The views were absolutely breathtaking and made each morning feel special.

Although I didn’t have enough time to explore every part of the hotel, everything I did experience exceeded my expectations. The staff was welcoming, the property was beautiful, and every detail contributed to a true luxury experience.

This is easily a five-star hotel in my book, and I will absolutely be staying here again the next time I’m in Atlanta. I can’t wait to come back!

I stayed at the Tess Autograph Collection for our 2 year anniversary and to propose to my girlfriend, and I could not have chosen a better place for such a special moment.

Rebecca went above and beyond in every possible way to make sure everything was perfect. From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating. She genuinely cared about making our stay memorable, and thanks to her, it was everything I had hoped for and more.

The outstanding service did not stop there. Every member of the staff was warm and welcoming. The front door team was always greeting us with a smile, holding the doors, and asking if we needed anything. It is the small details like that which truly make guests feel valued.

We also had a wonderful experience at the rooftop restaurant. The staff there were exceptional, providing friendly, attentive service that made our celebration even more special.

The hotel itself is beautiful, but what truly sets it apart is the people. Their hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care created an unforgettable experience that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Thank you, Rebecca, and thank you to the entire team for helping make one of the most important days of our lives absolutely perfect. We cannot wait to return.

A stunning find, a warm & welcoming staff in a high- end hotel in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. And the food in the restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner) is delicious.

Staff is great. The beds are amazing! The showers have so much pressure that it’s like a massage. Will always stay are even I’m in town.

Hotel staff is very nice. Room was clean and well maintained. Tesserae restaurant is a joke. Staff is inattentive and seemed very confused on how a restaurant works, food is mediocre. Overall, not the quality of a in hotel restaurant I expect out 4-star and above hotels. I cannot emphasize enough how disappointing the restaurant was. We were there twice, once in the evening to have drinks and in the morning for breakfast. Both times were bad experiences. The staff at a McDonald’s at least understands how to effectively and effectively operate a restaurant.

Beautiful hotel. Attentive staff. Was upgraded to a nice suite even during the World Cup (Marriot titanium elite). Would highly recommend if you like style and class even while on business trips.

Brittany was my barista and she was amazing!! Very informative and full of energy. This place is my favorite hotel yet!! And yess, I travel a great deal.

I usually like big hotels with lots of facilties so I avoid 'boutique' hotels which I have always thought of being too homely but I was bored of the Sheraton at the airport hotel I usually stay in and the outdoor pool and rooftop bar seemed like a fun idea and I was not wrong.
This has been my most welcoming ever hotel stay in Atlanta in 30 years. All the staff were very professional and friendly and we felt so welcome. (with the exception of the rooftop bar lady on wednesday night who had a really bad attitude) but every other staff member was great.
It was better than most so called 5 star hotels. It was boutique style which grew on me and I really felt at home after a couple of days.
Fully stocked mini bar in the room (I thought covid had killed the mini bar so this was a nice surprise). Nespresso coffee machine and everything you need. Oddly no iron but they quickly brought one.
Reasonable gym, very nice rooftop pool with loungers and best of all the outdoor rooftop bar. Every evening should start and end with a trip there.
My only gripe (which I totally forgive as it was such a great stay) is the $40 destination fee which makes no sense. 4 nights = $160 fee (on top of room charge). In return they give you 4 x $20 vouchers to use anywhere in the hotel (worth $80) and a $15 uber credit - so that makes $95 in return for a $160 fee. I seem to be $65 down on that deal.

Yoga at 7am (!) is included as is daily bike rental. Don't charge me for stuff I will never use on a 4 day work trip. It feels wrong.

Forgot to mention 5 minute walk away are bars and restaurants so the location looks a bit remote at first it has everything you want.

Good location, amazing staff, unique style.

We had a wonderful stay, and a big part of that was thanks to Mr. Pickens at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He greeted us by name every time we passed through the lobby, which made our stay feel personal and special.
His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly set him apart. It's rare to encounter someone who genuinely cares about the guest experience the way Mr. Pickens does. He consistently exceeded our expectations and made us feel valued throughout our visit.
Mr. Pickens is a tremendous asset to the company, and his dedication to outstanding customer service deserves recognition. We look forward to returning because of the exceptional hospitality he provided.

We stayed at The Tess for a wedding and were really disappointed by the lack of service. There was no hot water the afternoon of the event, and despite calling the front desk around ten times, no one ever answered. Instead, we were forced to deal with an unhelpful AI phone system. I eventually had to go downstairs myself to learn there had been a gas leak affecting the area.

Throughout the weekend, we tried calling the front desk multiple other times with the same result: no answer. Other guests at the wedding had similar issues, including a couple whose motion-activated bed‑frame light kept flashing all night and who also couldn’t reach anyone.

For a hotel in this category, being unable to reach a real person when something goes wrong is unacceptable. This experience has made us reconsider staying at Autograph Collection hotels in the future.
