These are remarkably poor design choices, especially for an otherwise beautifully renovated property
Pros:

Exceptional location right on a private beach, with a lovely balcony and a rooftop observation deck offering beautiful views. Reserved parking, a large flat-screen TV, and comfortable furnishings. Vinyl records and a vintage turntable added a charming decorative touch, although the turntable was unfortunately not working well. The bathroom was comfortable and featured a very nice shower. The kitchenette included a refrigerator and microwave.

Cons:

The bathroom had no heating. There was no silverware, dinnerware, or cookware whatsoever, despite the kitchenette. Not even drinking glasses or disposable cups were provided. No in-room safe.
What was particularly surprising and extremely inconvenient was the complete lack of electrical outlets and reading lights near the bed. The only source of light was the main overhead room light, with its switch located well out of reach of the bed. This meant having to get out of bed just to turn off the light after reading. Going to the bathroom at night meant navigating the room in complete darkness.

Overall, great place for couples to stay for a romantic getaway!
Pros:

The cleaning service did an excellent job! The room is just right for couples, love the private beach and room intimacy.

Cons:

Blue Truck Coffee is only seasonal and there are no breakfast options. Bathroom was small. Walls are very thin between rooms.

Pros:

The view of the ocean was spectacular. Location is perfect. This was our 5th time staying at the Tides . The front desk staff were outstanding . So helpful and so pleasant . You are fortunate to have them there.

Because of the AC we had terrible time of sleeping. The fan blade made so much noise ear plugs work.

Not worth it. There are much better hotels in Falmouth heights.

There is a small private beach. That’s about it.

Cons:

This was an $800/night stay and absolutely not worth it. It’s a motel, there’s nothing upscale about it.
No glasses in the room, and they say there’s a wine fridge.
No coffee maker in room, they sell it from a coffee truck
No slippers or robes
The air conditioner causes the floor and tables surfaces to get wet, where you have to walk on towels in the room. Classy.
The fire pits on the small beach cause the smoke and lighter fluid to go into the rooms.
The beach chairs are on a slope, had to level them with rolled up beach towels.
The manager, Andrea, has very bad customer service skills.
Never again.

We were surprised and delighted by the quality of the hotel and the staff; planning to return soon.
Pros:

Our room was very clean; that is especially important for us. The staff were wonderful: friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and hardworking. Food truck in the parking lot was super convenient and we used it multiple times each day. The beach was clean and well tended; we loved having chairs and umbrella, along with a small patio.
