Dit hotel is gewoon perfect. Ieder detail in iedere ruimte is over nagedacht. Personeel vriendelijk, eten lekker, kamer top! Kan niets bedenken dat niet goed was. Staat bovenaan mijn top 3 en heb wat hotels gezien in m’n leven.

Room size is small
Great location and facilities. Big shopping mall with kids family activities and restaurants nearby. Great access to subway and taxis. Staff were nice and tried to be helpful.
Somehow the room temperature is fixed at 25 Celsius, making it unbearably hot to sleep at night. They could not fix the AC during my entire stay of 5 nights here, I couldn’t sleep for 2 nights and my son woke up every night with the entire pillow wet with sweat.

Guests here are not looking for a usual luxury hotel experience. At W, you can expect to be entertained/amused or both. The property is done to great detail with eclectic personaility. W Changsha has one of the most pretty bars I have seen at any W, although it was a pity that the crowd was pretty non-existent when I was there even though it was 七夕。
Service is top notch and the buffet breakfast is worth waking up for. There is a mall situated within the hotel which although have limited shopping options, offer good amenities such as 费大厨，河马鲜生。
Available luxury. Rooms details are very good. Next to luxury shooping mall. Very nice bar with live music until 23:00
Lack of good English

i did a lot of research for hotels in changsha and this looked like great value for money , but it was amazing - next to mall , subway but more importantly it’s probably the best hotel room i have ever been in and the staff were incredible . changsha is a fantatsic city right light show but i couldn’t think of a better hotel
No privacy for shower area as it is quite open and have to step out of shower to open area to undress and dress. The design is not convenient for travellers who are not couples.
The style of W- Hotels is amazing especially the breakfast and we enjoyed again!
The bar on 6th floor could be equipped with much more drinks and choices as at other W-Hotels worldwide.

Very helpful and friendly hotel staff. I had a few questions pre-arrival, and was able to reach English speaking staff by email at w.csxwh.wrm@whotels.com. They also have a wechat account that you can message (contact hotel for it). Excellent recognition of Marriott Platinum status. Delicious breakfast spread including local and international options. Great gym and locker rooms available. There is an indoor pool that we did not get to use. Building and facilities look new and modern. Location was excellent as the hotel is connected to a high end shopping mall with many food options, including a row of restaurants behind the mall, and more casual food options in the basement level. The mall is also directly connected to a subway station, making the hotel easily accessible by public transportation: from Changsha Airport, take the maglev airport train to Changsha South Train Station and transfer to the subway (light blue line / line 2) and get off at Changsha Avenue (3 stops) and take station exit 1B. If arriving by train to Changsha Station, you can also take the light blue line / line 2 to Changsha Avenue (also 3 stops away). You can use RMB cash for subway tickets if you don't have Alipay / Wechat pay working on arrival.
