Very happy with our stay
Pros:

Cons:

Warning, warning. Stay away.
Disappointing stay – far from 5-star standard
We came directly from a great stay at Hotel Emerald (5 stars) in Kosovo and were looking forward to seven nice days at Mövenpick. Unfortunately, the disappointment began from the very first metre into the hotel and our first encounter with the staff.
On its own website (Lura), the hotel is presented as an "upscale, relaxed and uncomplicated guest experience," a "fairy-tale getaway" in "premium scenery," promising "an unmatched quality of hospitality" and "lasting memories by doing ordinary things in an extraordinary way." Our experience was the exact opposite, and the photos on the site give a misleading impression of a well-maintained hotel.
I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but there were so many issues during our stay that I feel it's necessary to share them:
Service: Consistently poor. Several staff members were rude, disengaged, and appeared to have little understanding of basic hospitality.
Fitness centre: Largely out of order – none of the three treadmills worked. The gym in the round building in front of the hotel had equipment that looked decades old, with no way to clean it after use.
Pool area: The outdoor pool was poorly maintained – loose tiles and water so murky you couldn't see your feet. Large amounts of glue, grout, and mosaic tiles had been dumped directly into the nature surrounding the hotel. The playground by the pool was in a dangerous, dilapidated state, with sharp metal remnants and debris that should have been removed long ago.
Food: Consistently poor quality. The risotto contained canned chicken cubes, and the bruschetta was soft, unappetising bread that had clearly never seen a grill. The food was so unpleasant that we ended up eating at the neighbouring hotel instead.
Birthday cake incident: We paid 25 euros for a cake to be served at breakfast for our son's 7th birthday.

Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. The facilities are very good, especially the spa area and gym. The cleaning ladies were lovely and worked very hard to keep everything clean. The hotel is great for families and has a very relaxing atmosphere, with nice music playing in the background. The outdoor swimming pool has plenty of space and is not too deep, which makes it great for children. Overall, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Cons:

Some parts of the hotel looked a little outdated, especially the corridors. However, overall there wasn’t really anything I disliked about my stay.
