Clayton Hotel Manchester City Centre

The team here were absolutely amazing. We were served by Melvyn Joe and Durpan. They were so hospitable attentive and friendly. I would never hesitate to recommend this place to a friend five stars all-time delicious and amazing x

Spent one night here. Immediate problems checking in caused a large queue. Eventually sorted by the reception staff. Room carpet was dirty in places and the shower wasn’t great. The worst aspect was the AC blowing out warm air all night resulting in 2 cool showers at 3 and 5am. Didn’t sleep at all. The much lauded breakfast was average at best, bacon terrible but the worst aspect was how rude one member of staff was. Only plus was the location for the city centre. Overpriced for the experience.

No chance to tell staff about experience on check out as all were busy.

I recently stayed two nights at the Clayton in Manchester city centre and cannot speak highly enough of the team here. From the moment something wasn't quite right with my room, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable — seamlessly arranging a room change while I was out, having everything perfectly set up on my arrival back, key card ready and all. It felt genuinely effortless on my end, which only happens when a team really cares.

A special mention to Karen and Emmanuel, who both checked in personally to make sure my stay was going well. Karen was meticulous in making sure every detail was sorted before I even walked through the door, and Emmanuel's warmth and attentiveness throughout the evening made me feel like a valued guest. Aya on the front desk was also very helpful. That level of genuine care is rare and it made all the difference.

The hotel itself is lovely, but it's the people that make it exceptional. I'll absolutely be back.

I would like to say Omoye has been such a lovely waitress to our table she was very nice and smiley , she was kind and polite when we ordered our omelette and didnt mind going back and forth very very good customer service skills

I had an amazing stay at Clayton hotel, friendly staff, beautiful room and nice ambience. I was just disappointed that there was no refrigerator in my room, I came in June, very hot but I couldn't have cold drinks in my room. However, Omoye made my breakfast time relaxing, she was very kind and polite

Hotel in great location. Lovely clean Modern room. Gluten free breakfast available and my daughter even had GF pancakes. Bilal on the breakfast was extremely helpful and lovely advising us what we could have and ensuring we had a lovely breakfast. Excellent service- we will be sure to stay again. Travel walking with allergies can be a nightmare but not here. 5* Bilal!

Check in was very easy and smoth . The receptionist and her name is Aya, she was amazing , professional , and she is very happy and that makes me feel very welcomed. She explains everything I need . She definitely needs a reward. Thank you for your amazing service Aya.
The hotel is very clean and has an amazing room very big and clean.
