Customer service was very friendly & attentive. Gabbi, Marcella, Juliet and Jas (Yaz), were awesome and welcoming.
This hotel offers a great mix between a retro/vintage vibe with a splash of contemporary.
If you appreciate history with a twist, ask to host or stay in their Victorian home, nestled next to their main entrance. It’s exposed brick to spiral staircase and more, await you.
The decor color in the weight room, I would change to more of bold colors versus soft colors. After all, no pain no gain…and the pastel like to neutral colors, didn’t do it for me. The free weights I appreciated!
Breakfast burritos and danishes were excellent and fresh. There wasn’t anywhere to sit so we took it back to our room. The hotel was clearly very busy but was quiet with no disturbances. Valet was very courteous and prompt.
I thought we would enjoy the loft bed, but honestly it was a little hard to move around to get in and out of bed.
Nothing, we were denied service on arrival.
Everything!
The staff was friendly! And the room was super clean and very unique! Not like your regular hotel room!
The parking can be situated a bit better.
The hotel exceeded our expectations, offering an impeccable balance between artistic design and modern comfort, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The terrace is a wonderful added touch. Its prime location, just one block from the event venue, was a key factor in our choice. An excellent experience that we would highly recommend.
My wife is from Denver, and we spend every other Christmas with her family. We try to have one night to ourselves at a hotel in the Denver area and picked the Catbird this year. We are so glad that we did! Chris, the bartender at the rooftop bar was fantastic. The hotel has every amenity you could want and has the coolest vibe. The lofted beds and giant projector screens are an awesome touch, and there are tons of awesome restaurant and breweries within walking distance. We will definitely be back the next time we need a night to ourselves when visiting Denver.
I recently stayed at the Catbird for 3 nights, and enjoyed the fact that it was convenient to the train station, which was nice. The rooms were nicely appointed although the elevated bed re: stairs were a little much to navigate, especially during the night. Yow! Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The one thing I thought prospective guests should be aware of (and the only reason I'm writing this review, which I never do), is if you book through a 3rd party, the hotel will tack on an extra $30 per day as an "Amenities Charge" i.e. game room, meeting room - whether you use them or not. They also charge for breakfast which was nothing more than a breakfast burrito / sandwich and juice choice. This charge for me came as a surprised when I checked my credit card statement and saw a charge of $130.00. When I called about it, they told me that ALL guests were charged this fee, whether they use these things or not. Caveat emptor, folks.
It was a great place to stay. Convenient location and staff is friendly and helpful. I will likely book this every time I visit Denver
Room is okay. It's hard to get the room temperature dialed in. I also don't like the elevated beds because it's a bit tricky to get up in middle of night for restroom without tripping on stairs. Hotel couldn't give me a receipt for full expenses because it was booked through 3rd party (e.g. Booking.com) which is how most bookings are made these days.
The hotel is wonderful and we loved daily fresh breakfasts, plus the skateboards, the laundry facilities, and especially the comfortable lobby and library rooms where we could just hangout, play games, drink coffee, or read. Super cozy.
Plus the Catbird Hotel is in the ideal RINO District spot. Close to everything! Close to the best restaurants, the best bars, the best art walks, the best urban exploring. Plus two minutes from the light rail station. We couldn’t have asked for a better Denver We couldn’t have wished for a more ideal Denver location.
Small studio with interesting “tiny house” type arrangements. Parking is expensive. Staff is very nice and lounge area is comfy
The design of the room and the bed design under the bed I want the bed
Well, first of all, I was very confusing on the parking situation so that was a little bit. Disappointing figured it’d be a little easier to access that parking part of it and then wanted to go eat upstairs on the rooftop restaurant, but that was closed for a private event, which is not very cool and then I wanted to go sit in the Jacuzzi upstairs but their clothes and under construction and the whole reason I came whisper the freaking Jacuzzi so I’m not very happy about that
I had an excellent stay at the Catbird Hotel! The room was fantastic, and I absolutely loved the projector screen! It was a unique touch that really elevated the experience.
The staff were truly spectacular really friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. The location was also perfect, making it easy to get around Denver and enjoy the area.
The only downside is that the hotel does not offer free parking, so be prepared to find street parking or pay around $50 for valet service. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Denver and would happily stay here again.
All of it!!
Not impressed. Parking is too expensive, no staff on site or anyone to pick up when trying to call guest services to figure out how to use the projector remote. Then in the morning coming down to the lobby there were no hygiene standards in the dining and cooking area with partially dressed barefoot people all over. It was gross. Save your money and go somewhere where they have staff and someone actually checks you in and you don’t have to do it yourself. Also be prepared if you book online and pay through another site you are still going to get hit with about an extra $100 in additional fees upon checkout.
Comfortable pillows and bedding. Nice ambiance in lobby area.
there was no coffee available in the room. The bed is a little too soft
