Nice

Old Town Phuket can be pretty crazy. It was always nice to come back to my nice quiet safe hotel with the beautiful sunrise. No hot water once in my 10-day stay. Oh and 450 baht for breakfast is kind of pricey for the area. The pool was really nice on those hot days though.

Nice comfortable hotel

The staff unfortunately just do not have good customer service. They couldn’t assist with absolutely anything. They were an hour and a half late with our room and offered us juice. When I request an alcoholic beverage, they said we can’t do that. They couldn’t give us any change for our baht unless we bought something. This is not the experience we’ve had all over Thailand. You could not get a right outside of the hotel so we had to make contact with someone and pay extra to try to get somebody to take us away from the resort. Would never stay or recommend this place again!

The ocean view was awful it was just marshland. No actual beach there. There were abandoned ships right in our view

We all were planning to go to Bali , however we got canceled due to the volcano eruption and were planning Thailand the following year 2025.

I must say no way to Bali and we all going back again in 2025 .

This place is outstanding, extremely clean ambiance is outstanding food just perfect and the staff at your needs . The room with that view and the pool ( S)

the deposit never comeback , paid with debit but the money never back , they said only took 3-7 bussines day , and when i called them they say 14 days , sending emails slow response and never get my money back

I was surprised the hotel was that high quality for its price. It’s very wide and has many pools. Fits for people who just like to stay inside the hotel and not coming out.

Great location and services. Good food and lovely pool areas. Design is not for ideal for moving around the hotel when it rains. Rooms with balcony allow airflow; windows do not open in enclosed rooms. Sister hotel (Tide) has tour desk.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Foto Hotel, just outside main Phuket. Phuket is a 15-20 minute taxi

It was a really mixed stay, some really good things but some things that really need attention for their apparent 5star rating.

We opted for the swim up pool room, with a big bath in the room.

Pro’s:
- aesthetically, the room and hotel is very well curated and looks very nice for photos in its black and white
- the framing of the view with the bed facing the pool is lovely.
- the lighting of the room is quite fancy, with a mini fridge and coffee machine in the room (with 2 free pods)
- the bed is AMAZINGLY COMFY! The most comfy bed I’ve had in a hotel in a long time.

Cons:
- the pool is really difficult to get in and out of from the room, rendering it a useless for use to come back and forth from your room. It needs a ladder to help get in and out. Particularly if you had kids, we’re elderly or had mobility issues
- the room is quite impractical, with no where to put your clothes, whilst it looks lovely it’s functionality is a little lacking. The nice lighting makes things like putting on make up really difficult, because even in daylight the rooms dark.
- staff feel a little ambivalent to you, and certainly isn’t the same hospitable experience we’ve had elsewhere in Thailand.
- everything’s a little grubby and worn, the wall round the pool, paint is all flaking, and lots of shrubbery floating in the pool. Cushions and loungers round by the pool were rusting on grubby.

Cons from our stay:
- our electronic door lock was not working properly and every time we left the room, we had to go back to the reception desk every time we went out the room when we came back. Really frustrating and was never rectified- not sure they quite understood this happened EVERY TIME we went out.
- they have a useful shuttle bus to Phuket as it’s a way out of town, it runs twice a day, booking advised. Went to book at 9am for 3:30pm, was advised it needed 24 hour notice, even though I asked is there space still. Apparently you can’t get the minibus unless you book with 24 Hour + notice.
- our room was never cleaned, we were out at various points and put the clean our room sign on, but it seemed to be missed.

Overall would I come back. Probably not, but the sister hotel “tide” which seems to be joint, looked a bit better and the pool was much nicer (which you can use staying at Foto too) so would probably opt for there.

Sil is a super friendly waiter, really paid attention to all the small details. And the food was amazing as well as the live music.
The hotel also look really nice and located at an amazing beach. But you can also find really good pools there. Absolutely amazing experience!

The staff at the lobby were super nice and kind. She was willing to escort and support me. Recommend you pick this hotel to stay. You will always happy to stay in this hotel.

Good vibe here, chilling and enjoying with the special promotion drinks at the bar all the time.

Although we only stayed one night. This was a very imaculate hotel. It was very unique and the staff was above friendly and helpful. It is out of the way so a good place if youre looking for somewhere quite for the night.

We had a very nice stay at the art Fotohotel with amazing staff Aei , Belinda , Sea delicious menus, unique design and stunning view from the pool.
The rooms are very spacious and clean. We would recommend every tourist to visit this hotel in Koh Sirey.

Check in took some time. Despite of checking late in evening. Cash deposit is required for every one. Credit card deposit is accepted but they say they will take 21-30 days to release back.
Hotel is monochrome boutique style. Which is quite nice. Every thing black or white with mix of grays.
Couples or solo will like it esp who loves taking pictures for tik tok / ig or reels.
Small boutique hotel.
Halal certified so no pork will be served but enough choices for breakfast spread. Room service prices are reasonable .
My room was ocean view so could see sunrise n subset from my bed.
Rooms is spacious enough with bath tub n other amenities.
Capsule coffee available in room.
Hotel is Away from shopping / nightlife n nothing much to do near the hotel.
Good and quiet stay.

Wonderful hotel. Way out of the way of the bustle of Patong Beach. Located right on a secluded bay with private beach on the southeast side of Phuket. 15 minutes to Old Town. Great Staff, great service. Comfy bed. Very competitive pricing. If you are going to Phuket and want to avoid the mess of Patong beach, give this hotel a chance.

The Foto Hotel Phuket has a really good breakfast buffet as well as extraordinary rooms and very kind staff. Especially Aei was very friendly and helped us to geht necessary documents. They have several nice pool areas and a wonderful beach view.

The breakfast here is awesome and the service is pretty good. Oei, Prim, Toon, Tum are professional and patient, warmhearted. Especially the room with sea view. We had a good time here with our parents. Also it’s convenient to enjoy a sun rise here. ✌️
