The location isn't great; you have to take a taxi everywhere. Breakfast is quite basic. The room itself is okay, but there's no internet connection.
So many things... let's go: 1) The reception isn't on the ground floor; you have to go up to the 3rd floor; 2) On the second day, the card that gave access to my room stopped working (poor quality) and it took forever to fix it, until they replaced the card; 3) I had a very good 5G eSIM, but it didn't work in my room. The Wi-Fi also had a terrible signal, and I had to ask reception how to connect because there was no sign in the room, which is standard. 4) Be careful with the room's outlets, as there are no 3-pin plugs (Brazilian standard); 5) They charged me for 5 nights, even though I booked only 3 and stayed for only 3. They charged me 3 nights in advance (check-in), and after I checked out, I was already on the way back, they charged me 2 more nights through Booking.com, without explanation, demonstrating disorganization on the hotel's part. So far, they haven't resolved the issue. If they do, I'll update this comment.
整體來說非常的棒!
如果床可以再軟一點會更好!
但仍然不影響很棒的體驗!
The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, every nook and cranny was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was more than expected. When dining in the restaurant, I felt full of experience, especially Miss Lucy in the restaurant was super enthusiastic, always paying attention to the needs of guests, cleaning the table in time, and directly filling the service details, which was a great feeling!
Room was large and beds extra large. Staff were super helpful and friendly and had good English. Local shops for drinks and snacks.
Room was too hot for our own personal liking and no option for cooling in March.
Very clean and modern. Spacious rooms
Beds were very hard
Breakfast and the food court were great, the room were cleaned, and had goosed ventilation.
For the price, each room doesn't have a drinking water bottle, nor have refreshments to hydrate yourself.
Some of the furniture was old and stained and needed to be cleaned more frequently.
Many counter staff doesn't speak English, which is hard for foreigners who want to stay.
The room is very comfortable and the staff is very helpful. It is near the exhibition where I go most of the days
Personal at the hotel does not talk English so it's difficult to communicate. The air conditioner of the room didnt cool the room enough, it didnt go below the 21°C so on hot days it's not conveniente.
Other than that room is clean and nicely located, my stay was pretty good.
It's way out of town but has a few local restaurants, a bar and cafe very close. Good shower and comfortable beds and the first to have a string line in the bathroom for hanging clothes. But... The room was hot and the aircon didn't work, we had to get a fan, open the window the tiny bit we could and leave our door open to cool the room down, I also had to repeat this at 1am when I woke to the temperature unbearably hot again. The staff were very helpful and tried to offer solutions but they really just need to get the aircon working. Breakfast was also a letdown, cereal was all of the sugary varieties, no bacon or pastries.
We visited this hotel as apart of a tour group. For the most part it ticks all box’s, except the breakfast buffet. There is very little variety, and it is overwhelmingly busy regardless of the time you get down. The bread provided is stale, and there seems to be more vegetables than actual food. This was by far the worst breakfast in china I have had so far, and being the last place I’ll be staying before I depart, is beyond disappointing. Being this a staple hotel, and the most ambitious of the entire tour, this was certainly a major let down. Breakfast is supposed to make your day, not ruin it. Do better.
It was just all about right, good location
Nothing to dislike
We stayed in this hotel as part of group tour and in many regards it ticks all the right boxes: it is new, the rooms are spacious and clean (including the biggest bed I think I have ever seen), the lifts are fast and whisper quiet and reception was very efficient. Excellent selection at the smorgasbord breakfast.
However, the downside - and it was a big one for us - is its distance from historic downtown Shanghai - the Bund, Nanking Road, the river, Shanghai Tower and the skyscrapers in the 'new' Pudong area. The hotel is located on the far western outskirts of metro Shanghai in a nondescript residential and industrial area. It has no character at all. Getting to and from central Shanghai' by coach (as our group did over several days) on the city's totally overloaded freeway system took anything from 60 to 90 minutes. Shanghai is one of the great world cities - and you can sense that when you're say on the Bund. The pulse is palpable. At Qingpu you may as well be in some anonymous Chinese town. Excitement is the last thing that comes to mind.
