The place was perfect for my family and had all the amenities we needed. This was our second stay, and it was just as great as the first. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommended for families or groups.

Huge rooms for families! Love Hotel Monday!
Pros:

-Huge apartment for Tokyo size
-Full Kitchen, dining area, washing machine/dryer, full -bathroom with big bathtub
-2 x double beds + 1 double bunk bed
-Free Pyjamas and amenities

Cons:

- whilst walking distance to Ueno station but 450m can feel far when you’re tired and rolling luggages!
-walking at night in quiet streets after a long day of sightseeing may not be for everyone, it was not a problem for us as our kids are teenagers

A highly recommended stay, especially for families or longer visits in Tokyo.
Pros:

Location, about 1 kilometre from Ueno Station, roughly a 10-minute walk. Use the Iriya exit from Ueno Station.
7-Eleven right next door, My Basket Kitaueno and Maruetsu Higashiueno supermarkets also close by.
Friendly staff and very helpful. A washer/dryer in the room, laundry liquid provided by the hotel. If you run out, reception is happy to provide more.
Kitchenette was very well equipped, with a hot plate/stove, portable oven, microwave, and a generously sized fridge and freezer. It also included mugs, cups, plates, bowls, cutlery, pots and pans, and even a rice cooker!
Very spacious room (a family of three). A top bunk bed was set up, and underneath was a seating area that could be converted into an additional bed if needed, making it suitable for up to four guests.

Cons:

Using access codes—one for the lift and another for the room—takes a little getting used to.
