Fantastic
Pros:

Not an ordinary hotel. That’s a true gem. You feel home immediately at arrival. Fantastic staff
The Concept is incredible. So much things to do on site. We had a sundowner on our own private island. Will return without doubt.

please have a full bouquet in the rooms. don't like leaving my room to go watch tv in the common or lounge area. I expect a Boutique Hotel to have full channels in all the rooms. the basins in rooms are very impractical , the tap occupies the full length of the basin , making it difficult to wash your beards and head before shaving

This is my first time at the hotel and I think it the best one in Franschhoek !! It’s a boutique hotel with everything you need during your trip!! It’s a complete experience!! All the staff are friendly and they are always ready to help you!!

Exceptional!
Pros:

This is a totally exceptional place. It is far from only an hotel. The entire estate caters for all activities for a family with the friendliest staff! They are constantly wanting to spoil and assist and please! Ludus Magnus is like a 5* family resort hotel!

It was lovely. Loved the grounds, the restaurant, the field and the fruits.
Pros:

The service and facilities were amazing.
There is great attention to detail and the atmosphere is calm. I would highly recommend the place for any sports teams that would like to rest and recuperate or prepare for an event.

Cons:

Access can be hard during the rainy season but the staff can help with navigating through the roads to get to the hotel.
Would have loved to use the warm pools but it takes a while to warm up.

Luxurious stay in a beautiful location
Pros:

The villa was exceptionally clean with luxurious interiors. The staff was very supportive. We met the owner and she is very kind.
