Underwhelming
Pros:

I was looking forward to staying here since for the Price. I thought it was gonna be special.

Great views but the service and amenities need upgrading.
Pros:

I loved the big window and the view! It was fabulous. The beds were nice as well; very cozy. And the room was wonderfully quiet!

Cons:

The shower was wimpy. So little water! The music in the bar was so loud that you didn’t want to be in there. The coffee service in the bar in the morning was so slow; a coffee maker in the room would have been great. The temperature of the room was hard to control for some reason.

Marc at the front desk is absolutely exceptional

Cons:

The first night we were on floor 4 as we arrived early - i had to change - sadly we had train sounds all night so Marc moved us the next day - I would definitely return for a higher floor room -

I am super sensitive to noice and vibrations and even at the 10th floor I could feel the subway.

Very personable reception and comfortable stay in a great location.
Pros:

We loved the way that this hotel was so friendly ~ most hotels are so impersonable .This was not our experience … very friendly very helpful staff .Foing above and beyond ~ thank you

Cons:

We didn’t like walking through a business meeting to get to the restaurant for breakfast .. it felt awkward and not right. Behind the desk was filthy and had loads of lost items

Upbeat Well Maintained & Managed Super Excellent Property
Pros:

The Ace is an excellent, well maintained, well managed property, with friendly, professional staff, and a pleasant appealing footprint & environment. The location for me was perfect (literally), firstly being on a secondary street meant day & night traffic was very moderate, and as I simply wished to experience Brooklyn, and the Ace provided walkable access to the DUMBO and East River Park area, Brooklyn & Manhattan bridges; local eateries, a supermarket one block west and more. Lastly, my 11th floor corner room was quiet at night, plus had a western oriented view of the Statute of Liberty, along the East River and mouth of the Hudson!

Cons:

That I had not visited this property sooner.

Perfect.
Pros:

A very modern hotel with a warm lounge with great coffee and bagels and very friendly staff. Our room was beautiful Thank you.

Just feels like you’re in your local favourite coffee shop back home in Australia.
