Filled with positive energy. Staff are very helpful with good manners. Better than most hotels in Manhattan.
The lobby can get quite noisy and crowded.
Gym is too small.
We our enjoyed our stay, and would return. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, although the air conditioning was very load; we therefore used this as little as possible. The hotel the location was excellent and afforded superb views over Brooklyn and towards the Statue of Liberty. Staff were welcoming but slow to follow up requests. Watch out for mini-bar charges for water, tea and coffee, which, to our minds, should be complimentary. It was only as we were checking-out that we learned that there are free water-refill stations on alternate floors of the hotel, except floor 13, where we stayed.
Exceptional housekeeping as well as front desk support during checkout. Great team adding to the the positive overall experience. The rooms are well appointed and larger than most you will find around here.
The Minibar was charged 2 days after checkout...for drinks that were not drunk. Was settled promptly at the front desk because we were still in town. Also the hold of $300 on the credit card hasn't been released so far...wondering if the team has been appropriately trained on their systems.
Incredible attention to detail in the design of the spaces, both public and private. Extremely comfortable room with an incredible aesthetic. Fantastic location so many shops, laundromats, doctors, everything you might need is right there.
I think the reception desk could be better placed. It was in an awkward position and so it felt a little impersonal coming in and out of the hotel.

The facility was wonderful and inviting. The hallways were calmly lit and led to a very comfortable environment.

Great lobby and vibes in the heart of Brooklyn. Easy access to Manhattan, with the subway station only a short walk. Like the water stations on every level and the beds were comfortable.
The train caused some noise at night but pretty good by NY standards. The furniture is a little worn, but nothing to deter my stay.
The staff were friendly and helpful. It was easy to get to the subway. Loved Black Seed! Bed was also comfortable.
