Great hotel in convenient Brooklyn location
Pros:

This is our second stay at the Ace. I like the vibe - urban trendy. Welcoming lobby/work space so active all day. New since our stay thanksgiving 2024: scheduled DJ’s on many nights so bar/lobby is more clubby than hotel-y. The restaurant is excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Staff are great and rooms have lots of hooks for coats etc - that is a real plus.

Cons:

I would have like some quiet bar time during our stay.

Overall, the experience was quite good, but the air conditioning system needs improvement.
Pros:

The overall accommodation has a strong sense of design. Both the lobby’s shared spaces and the bar are very stylish and comfortable. During our first three nights, there happened to be a DJ event, which allowed us to fully experience the vibrant nighttime atmosphere of Brooklyn.

Cons:

However, the air conditioning in our room seemed to be quite old. Whenever it adjusted the temperature, it made a loud noise roughly every half hour. We were woken up by the noise every night, and throughout our seven-night stay, our sleep was repeatedly interrupted each evening.

The location, the cool
Vibe in the reception the excellent staff. The Bar, Bagel place in the lobby area. Our room was amazing. Wow what a view. ! We particularly would like to give a shout out to Mo and He et at the lobby bar they went above and beyond to make us welcome. Will stay again for sure!

L’intérieur est bien décoré, les lits confortables, emplacement proche des stations de métro.

Cons:

Un côté assez impersonnel, le personnel n’est pas vraiment très disponible ni à l’écoute… l’ambiance manque de chaleur pour accueillir une famille avec enfant. Dans la douche, pas de possibilité d’avoir une poire de douche amovible, seulement un pommeau de douche accroché très haut sur le mur…

Ace design. Great location. Property is a bit worn, but still very comfortable.
Pros:

Bed was comfy. Design is top notch. Nice selection of minibar snacks although I did not partake. Nice bathrobes if a little small.

Cons:

Shower took quite a long time to heat up. Found an old soap wrapper on floor. Sink drain was pretty chipped and stopper came off a couple times. Lobby food was kind of bland.
