Excellent stay within Curtin University campus; clean and tidy room with balcony and bathroom.
Pros:

I travelled for work at Curtin University, so the location was very convenient for me. Moreover the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, so it is easy to commute to the city and other places of interest. The check-in and check-out process was quick and smooth. The room and bathroom was clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast, which I booked with my stay, was quite elaborate with a selection of bread, croissant, meat, fruits, muffins, yogurt etc. There was a balcony overlooking the Curtin stadium. The bus stop was also visible from the balcony but there was not much din, and it felt nice to sit in the balcony for a few minutes in the morning.

A nice place but not properly cleaned and let down by a cold brealfast buffet.
Pros:

The location was great for us but that's because wanted to be in Como specifically. It was probably a litle further out from the city that we would have chosen to be if that was what we were there for.
Building was modern and fresh and the grounds were nice to walk in. Had read about noise but it was the Easter long weekend so no students to be seen anywhere so it was very quiet.

Cons:

The breakfast buffet was all well cooked but all the cooked items were cold.
The lock on the toilet door broke meaning it was locked from the outside. No huge deal, it was fixed quickly but the fault remained which meant we couldn’t lock the bathroom door.
The room looked clean and was very neat but we found broken glass on the bathroom floor and looking more closely the bathroom hadn't been properly cleaned in a while.
But the big problem was that the room wasn't serviced for two consecutive days. When we asked why we were told there was no housekeeping on public holidays, but this wasn't mentioned in advance. This just seemed like wanted to avoid penalty rates at the expense of customers.
