Wharfside Village Hotel

We loved staying in Cruz Bay with easy taxi service to the beach and so many wonderful dining options. The room was perfect, and staff were friendly and responsive.

Great location on Cruz Bay! Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Close to several dining options, and just a short walk to Mongoose Junction where there are add'l dining/shopping options - definitely will be back!!

Love being right on the beach and walking distance to everything

Location, location, location. We were able to stay at this beautiful village hotel for our entire week and didn't find it necessary to have a personal car to eat, relax, shop, meet excursion watercraft or entertain ourselves. We did hop on a taxi for five of the days to visit a different amazingly gorgeous bay/beach each day. Everything else was within walking distance and/or within the village facilities. This trip was for an anniversary celebration and the hotel was a comfortable respite and clean sanctuary with the greatest beach view we've ever seen in our travels. The owners have carved out a beautiful natural spot in the midst of the abundant flora and fauna on that amazing piece of Earth.

This property is situated in the heart of the town. We felt very welcome and just like family. Overlooking the ocean was another big plus. You’re just steps away from the white sands of St. John and arm length away from amazing people and culture. Hy stay anywhere else.

Beds were great!!! Rooms kept neat and staff was great. Adam was great!!!! He meet us when we got off the ferry and his staff went out of their way to help coming and leaving the hotel. We couldn’t have had a better time.

We had a fabulous stay at Wharfside Village that began perfectly when I arrived just after 10am hoping to store luggage before check-in. Instead, after a brief 15-minute walk, our room was ready - much appreciated after long flights and ferries.

The room exceeded expectations: immaculately clean with a steamer (far better than an iron for quick touch-ups), lovely small touches (sweets and a small bottle of prosecco), relaxing lighting and Nespresso machine with plenty of pods. Tip for tea drinkers: press the button three times to run cleaning mode with just hot water - run it twice to clear any coffee residue.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and our balcony view was stunning. Location is perfect - 10-minute walk to Low Key Divers (also highly recommended), with ferry terminal, restaurants, and waterfront bars all nearby.

Practical touches made the difference: keyless entry codes (no worries about losing keys at the beach) and unlimited beach towels in the corridor - simply drop used ones in the basket and grab fresh ones.

This is a standout hotel that delivered exceptional value. We’ve already recommended it to friends and family, and we’ll definitely return. Worth every penny.

Beautiful room and lots of shops and restaurant choices close by.

Our first visit to St.John and this was the most convenient location. We could walk to most restaurants and shopping. Taxis were easily accessible. Rooms were beautiful!

Great great great experience

You could no ask for a more perfect location it’s right in the middle of everything. The staff is so friendly and helpful! The room is always clean and we feel so safe at the hotel. This is where we will be staying from now on when we visit St John!!!

Clean and comfortable. Best location on the island for walking to bars and restaurants. The Ocean view is incredible.

Even though above the restaurant and bars when the slider door is closed, you can’t hear any music very quiet. The hotel room was very nice but lack of storage cabinets. They were great every morning, refreshing towels, and refilling the coffee You’ll need to live out of your suitcase or ask for four times the amount of hangers and hang everything. Re-rented a car from Slim man and paid for a parking space right behind the building very convenient and would highly recommend. It’s ballet so it’s pretty easy to retrieve your vehicle.

the view of Cruz bay was nice

We absolutely loved staying here. The town of Cruz Bay is very walkable and Wharfside Village puts you right in the middle of so many great dining and shopping options as well as easy access to the taxis that can take you all around the island. No need to rent a car at all if you're coming here to stay. We even took a walk over to the National Park Visitor Center and hiked the Lind Trail from there to go to Honeymoon Beach and Solomon Bay Beach. I don't have the adequate words to describe how much we loved our vacation to St. John and our stay at Wharfside Village, other than to say that I'm going to book another trip there after writing this review!

A world of relaxation and calm started the moment we arrived. Any amazing property with all of the comforts of home within feet of amazing restaurants and entertainment.
