We’ve stayed multiple times and the staff is always fantastic. The people really make this property.

Cons:

We arrived and there was no soap in the bathrooms. Our room didn’t have enough towels for all of us to shower. There were soap puddles dried to the tub. And by the time we’d gotten back from our events for the day with the kids, the last thing we wanted was to have to call down, wait, or try and wrangle them all downstairs. The pack and play they gave us for the “crib” was broken and couldn’t be used. The response I was given was “there are only two and the others in use”

We have stayed here before and always enjoyed visiting. However, we were disappointed this time.

The beds were comfortable.

Cons:

I would have liked to have known that the pool was closed. It was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. Why on earth were we charged a RESORT FEE??? A Fairfield Inn is not a resort - particularly when the pool is closed for repair! The reception when we arrived was terrible. The desk clerk definitely needed an attitude transplant. The breakfast was not good. Many of the items were low on supply or out of stock. The eggs and sausage were of poor quality and not very warm.

It’s the only one in gladstone

Everything worked, amenities were good

People at the hotel gym could see into my room, there was no bathtub, remote/television had a long delay which made it hard to operate

Decent beds bathroom could use better clean

Cons:

1st room had plastic bags over the smoke detector. Towel for tub floor was damp, no trash bags or hand soap for bathroom sink. After a few minutes in the room it smelled of smoke and reported it to the front desk. They moved us to another room which was in better condition. Fairfield in McPherson was top notch which prompted us to stay at the Fairfield in Gladstone
