When we arrived to the hotel on the outskirts of central Kyoto and wasn't expecting to be impressed. Once inside, this place is great. It is amazing what they fitted into this hotel, plus the facilities (even though the gym was too small for such a large hotel). The location is great for Kyoto, even if the hotel street isn't so flash. The best thing is the bakery downstairs (didn't use the restaurant). The food is amazing, coming freshly out of the oven during the day. Great way to start your day. I have recommended come here just to buy something from the bakery.
Gym is too small for such a large hotel. Otherwise everything is perfect.

The staff were great, especially in the bar. The only negative was the horror of a smoking room which was dirty, ,no seats and about the size of 3 telephone boxes.

Location is near a local buss stop and therefore great if there any local spot you want to hop on a buss and go visit.
The property is very inviting and premium feeling. The lobby has a very nice aesthetic.
The room itself was fantastic. *perfectly* clean and everything in the room worked, was clean, up to date and modern, bathroom/shower were up to date and modern and clean.
I’m an extreme stickler when it comes to hotel cleanliness.. (to the point I’m that guy checking the corners of the tiled floors and shower for build up or missed areas of grime.)
I mean after all, that is literally the business of a hotel to maintain living quarters for its guests and in my opinion, keeping things up to date and absolutely spotless is the bare minimum, and this hotel keeps to that standard with precision, from what I observed.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay within the area. I have absolutely zero complaints.
I will say, I don’t care about views or a million ‘services’ for the hotel to offer… I want clean, modern, comfortable and welcoming. I can confidently say I got all those things.

Een zeer voortreffelijk hotel, mooi design, fantastische rooftop en annex bakkerij op het gelijkvloers.
De kamers zijn ruim voor Japan en hebben alle nodige faciliteiten.
