Pros:

とても設備や備品にこだわりを感じ、快適だった。脱プラスチックの試みで、歯ブラシの果てまで竹製品になっているところに、感動した。使い心地も良かった。
朝食も、ヨーロッパのようなスタイルで、とても美味しかった。
ホテルスタッフの挨拶が清々しい。

Cons:

ホテルの看板(表示？)が小さすぎて、車で探すのが大変だった。この点は、スタイリッシュすぎ。
ホテルの設備、お部屋、食事の内容に対して、ありがたいことだが価格が低すぎる。見たところほとんどの宿泊客が外国人のようだったが、日本を安売りしている印象がある。

10 / 10 for service, style, comfort and location
Pros:

This was one of our favourite stays in Japan. The service of the staff was incredible in all areas of the hotel. Front desk staff helped me to find medical services on a Sunday and used WhatsApp to keep in contact with me.
We booked the Jnr Suite, room 610 and it was worthwhile for the extra cost. Very large room, beautiful design with great sound and lighting tech! Bathroom was gorgeous and there is a wine fridge stocked with six bottles of wine. The room includes the first bottle complimentary in the stay.
The western style breakfast was perfect! Lots of choice and the bread is sourced from the onsite bakery and is incredible. All staff in the restaurant could not be more perfect, from kitchen to floor!
Twin beds were perfect and we both got a great nights sleep on both nights.
The laundry room in floor 1 is very useful. A lot of machines and dryers separate above them so no struggle to wait on others finishing before doing a wash or dry. The digital tablet is easy to use and pay by card.
Overall a perfect stay in Kyoto with amazing service from staff, beautiful design and only a 1km walk to the heart of the city of Kyoto.

The property needs to focus on the guests’ experience rather than aesthetics.
Pros:

The property has a nice aesthetic and it’s in a nice area.

Cons:

Overall, we enjoyed our one-week stay, but there were a few aspects of the experience that I think are worth mentioning for future guests and for the hotel to consider.

At check-in, the staff informed us that in-suite massage services were available. We later attempted to book a couples’ massage but were told that it could not be accommodated in our room because we had a king-size bed. Instead, we were advised that we would need to pay an additional ¥5,000 to use the hotel’s meditation room in order to receive the couples’ massage. This was disappointing, particularly because the in-suite massage service had been presented to us as an available amenity at check-in without any mention of this limitation or additional fee.

I would also like to mention that several of our interactions with the front desk staff, as well as with one waitress in particular, did not feel especially warm or welcoming. At times, their demeanor gave us the impression that they were reluctant to interact with or assist us and were simply doing so because it was required of them. I completely understand that everyone can have an off day, but this was something we noticed on multiple occasions throughout our one-week stay rather than during a single interaction.

On a positive note, the concierge was incredibly helpful, attentive, and welcoming. We really appreciated the assistance we received from them throughout our stay. :-)

One additional note regarding the Executive King Suite: the property’s photos were somewhat misleading when it came to clothing storage. Based on the photos, we expected the room to include a dresser or drawers. However, our room only had a mini fridge, a table, and approximately six clothes hangers. For a one-week stay, additional storage would have made a significant difference, as we had very little space to unpack and ended up having to keep most of our clothing in our luggage.

Pros:

Posizione ideale per la visita delle meraviglie di Kyoto: comodo per le metro e gli autobus, Kiyomizu-dera e Sanjūsangen-dō raggiungibili a piedi.
La dimensione della camera ampia e staff molto gentile nel gestire alcune esigenze di piccoli infortuni.

位置：靠近清水寺，二年坂，三年坂，楼下不远也有便利店。
环境：酒店的一切都很棒，有洗衣房和健身房。早餐也很棒。
