Here you are: excited to be in San Francisco. But the hotel is a downer.
Cons:

Bring your own water and maybe a snack. The hotel is starkly without amenities and comforts. We left after one night.

Pros:

Location was great, staff was so attentive. I was able to open my window which overlooked the garden for extra airflow which was wonderful! Already booked to come back!

Cons:

I could see some people feeling the room is a little tight, but this was fine because it was just me. Also could use some updating. Can also hear some noise in the hallways with doors opening/closing; thankfully I was at the end of the hall so it wasn't too bad.

Good location in the Haight. Nice lobby. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Room was VERY cold. Presence of space heaters suggests we are not the only ones who find this to be a problem. Noise from the street also not great.

Excellent one night stay.
Pros:

Perfect place to stay for a solo or couple to stay for 1-3 nights. Excellent location! All kinds of restaurants and amenities within walking distance. Only drawback no elevator, rooms are up some steep stairs. Not recommended for elderly or disabled. Otherwise felt like I was staying in a charming boutique hotel in Europe.
