Location was absolutely the best of all criteria.
Almost everything in the room is merchandise, to the point that I am afraid to touch anything apart from kitchen items. 3 complimentary coffee pods for 2 people; 3-night stays feel underwhelmed, and I need to pay for another 3 pods. I am not sure whether daily cleaning is provided; I thought a hotel would provide it.

Location was great.
Their “boarding pass” system is a complete failure. We requested the room be cleaned, at their “desk” and it did not happen. I texted them as their system requires and they never responded to my second request to clean the room and replace the coffee. There was no one available to help for at least 12 hours, no staff on premise.
It was a very unique room, with all the amenities: Washer/dryer, dishwasher, kitchen, utensils, plates and cups. microwave, cooktop fridges. Lovely lighting and a very comfortable bed. Friendly staff, and I laugh at the David statue in the lobby every time. Well located in Old Montreal to be close to great restaurants and entertainment.
Was a bit noisy from a he cars below and the elevator dinging. Clear glass shower made it awkward to gain some privacy. Two tv’s but neither of them really worked. We could watch for a bit and the. The show would stop or the sound would stop or we couldn’t get another show. Especially frustrating when the World Cup soccer matches were on.

Everything. The accommodations were great and so was the Staff.
Dark walls
The design was creative, modern, and off-beat. Some things were clever and some were just weird. Emilie was warm and helpful.
Air-conditioning was difficult to control. It was either much too cold or too hot. Putting the bathroom sink in the middle of a large bedroom was just weird and uncomfortable. The shower leaked rivers of water into the bedroom area and we had to use the dryer to make the towels usable. Access was way too complicated with all the codes that had to be entered. A key or key card would be much easier. I didn't see the point in paying for a kitchen and washer-dryer for a short stay, but the dryer came in handy when the shower leaked all over the room.
Loved the ease of use and the staff! Shoutout to Emilie! The studio had everyrhing you need for a comfortable stay, including washer, dryer, dishwasher, full kitchen, and a very comfy bed. The rainfall shower was strong! The lighting features were a bonus. Cant beat the old port location either. We loved Hotel David and would stay again. Highly recommend.
The Nespresso machine makes too small a cup of coffee/ espresso.
