The worst hotel experience we have ever had.

Cons:

The man checking us in was rude and kept saying he wanted extra money (the room was prepaid). The room was suppose to be handicap, but my daughter, who is wheelchair bound, could not use her chair in the rrom, she had to be carried or crawl to the bathroom. There was a tear in one mattress and the other had a cigerette hole. We were loading our things into the car about 10:30, and the worker from the night before kept telling us we needed to leave (check out is 11:00am).

Royal Inn Springdale, Arkansas
Pros:

Before my stay,I read the reviews of the property and staff,I was very leary but I couldn't beat the price. According to the reviews, they had bugs and staff was rude. I had no problems with the staff, they were very helpful and pleasant! I saw one bug, but I think it hitched a ride on my jeans from outside. They had a bug trap behind the toilet and it was empty. I will book another stay at the motel next time I go to the Springdale area!

Cons:

According to the signs on the doors, I had one of two no smoking rooms. I can't remember if I reserved a non smoking room or not, so I can't complain too much. As far as I know the whole motel is non smoking. Normally, going outside to smoke isn't a big problem but it was monsoon season while I was there.

Good value. Would stay here again
Pros:

Have stayed at Royal Inn several times while in Springdale area for baseball tournaments. It is always clean and staff friendly.
There is small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in room. Also washer and dryer on site.

Cons:

Close to highway which is great for access but not much for sleeping. We found just running a/c or heater would block highway noise.
