Tolles Hotel in Bacalar um zu enspannen und die Lagunen zu erkunden
Pros:

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Circulo in Bacalar war sehr angenehm, und wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten. Der Check-in war auch spät abends problemlos möglich, und die Kommunikation mit dem Hotel war durchgehend sehr gut.

Das Zimmer war sehr gross, und wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Auch das Bett war sehr gross und bequem, wir haben immer sehr gut geschlafen. Das Hotel sowie die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und die Tücher regelmässig gewechselt. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls sehr gross und modern gestaltet. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Dusche aus Naturstein sowie die grosse Ablagefläche beim Lavabo.

Ein Highlight war das Frühstück. Es war sehr gut und vielfältig mit Rührei, Spiegeleiern, Pancakes, Toast und frischen Früchten. Man wird definitiv satt und es bleiben keine Wünsche offen.

Insgesamt ist die Hotelanlage sehr schön gestaltet, mit viel Grün und einem tollen Pool. Sehr praktisch war auch, dass das Hotel Fahrräder zur Verfügung stellt, mit denen man Bacalar gut erkunden kann. Die Lage ist leicht ausserhalb des Zentrums, in wenigen Minuten ist man jedoch in der Stadt. Für uns war das ideal, da es sehr ruhig war.

Cons:

Im Zimmer war ein leicht muffiger Geruch wahrnehmbar. Wir waren uns nicht sicher, ob es eventuell Schimmel hatte, gehen jedoch davon aus, dass dieses Problem in der gesamten Region besteht, da in Bacalar eine sehr hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit herrscht.

Ein weiterer Minuspunkt war die Balkontür. Man konnte sie zwar zuschieben, jedoch war der Riegel zum Verriegeln kaputt, sodass man die Tür von aussen wieder öffnen konnte. Das war nicht ideal. Glücklicherweise haben wir uns im Hotel sicher gefühlt, weshalb es für uns in Ordnung war, in diesem Zimmer zu bleiben.

Zudem fehlte eine Ablagefläche für unsere Koffer bzw. ein geeigneter Platz, um die Kleidung auszupacken.

Schöne Ablage mit lauter Nachbarschaft

Sehr schöne Anlage mit tollem Pool, der bis 11 Uhr abends genutzt werden darf. Gute Cocktails an der Bar. Schneller Laundryservice.

Cons:

Leider hat in der ersten Nacht nahezu durchgehend ein Hund auf dem Nachbargrundstück gebellt. Der wiederum hat die Hähne geweckt, die dann gekräht haben. Wir haben kein Auge zugemacht. Es wurden Oropax angeboten, aber das ha nicht geholfen. In der zweiten Nacht haben nur die Hähne gekräht.
Die Polster auf der Terrasse sind schon sehr veraltet. Generell ist die Anlage schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Hier und da blättert im Außenbereich der Putz ab. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber ok.

The pool was nice when it wasn't surrounded by American doomscrollers and the shower was good.

Cons:

The food wasn't great for us (we specified vegan before our stay), the noise wasn't great from the other guests, the bed was really uncomfortable, the air con was so noisy but without it, the room was boiling. Not worth how much it costs
