Hotel is near inuyama castle, a quiet get away from nagoya city.
die Lage des Hotels ist ruhig, sehr traditionell unterhalb des Inuyama Castle. Tolles Haus, sehr gutes Frühstück, das Personal muss für den Standard noch dazulernen.
Personal freundlich, aber überfordert
In an amazing building that took our breath away on arrival. Huge glass wall with view of the castle.
Large room with balcony and well equipped.
Location is good for castle end of town.
Dining room too small. We could not get a dinner reservation on first night, just when you need it after a long trip. No warning that this was needed.
Breakfast needed a long queue which is unacceptable in a hotel of this class. People sitting in chairs all over the lobby and some standing.
Reception staff were limited in help given . We went to the annual matsuri which is a major event in the town. The staff gave no useful advice on the route for example. You had to know the exact questions to ask them.

Beautiful and modern facility. Spacious rooms with view of the Inuyama castle.
Everything except for the breakfast. At a high price of 5000 yen, I expected impeccable breakfast. I got an omelet with sides that were cold.
Beautiful gardens, rooms, onsen. Great staff and food.
Food and drinks quite pricy in comparison to local area but worth it considering amenities and service.

The onsen, the grounds, breakfast, location
I asked a question to two male staff at reception if there was a conference room (small or large) that I could book either on this stay or for the future. It didn't matter how many ways I asked, they just said No. Later I found you do have conference facilities, so they both lied to me. Looking into their eyes, I could see they were never going to assist me. Breakfast was $50 PP so I just expected more for that and no other option for some of my group who just wanted fruit. Dinner selection was okay in the bar area for pasta and pizza, the main restaurant didnt suite our needs.
