For one day after poor hotels in the country side a big relaxation.
Pros:

I expected staying in a Hilton Hotel that staff were able to speak English. I am living in 25 years and aware how convenient nowadays translation apps are. A bit disappointed although Lanzhou is certainly not Shanghai.

Cons:

No hotel restaurant open after 9 pm.

Pros:

The hotel is located in the center of Lanzhou. It is about 20 minutes taxi drive from Lanzhou train station. The reception is located on the 50th floor. The pool/gym were spacious and great, I could get a great workout in as the weather in the evening was rainy.
