it was that bad, we walked in and walked straight out
its disgusting - how is this hotel still open
Dirty room no hot water
Another great visit. The staff are helpful and friendly. The area is lovely.
Great value for money. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Location is perfect.
If I could give it a minus I would it stank of smoke , mold in the bathroom, cupboard doors hanging off drawers missing ends of beds chewed like if they had mice in the night , and was told all the room are the same and there cleaned every day Faulty tower come to mind !!! Avoid at all cost
Rooms had damp cracks in the ceiling and black mould in the bathroom, glass in the car park where a car had been broken into. The staff werent helpful so we didnt stay as it was unsafe.
Parking was easy at the hotel
Accomodation was fair ... good for the price of my 1 night stay
Blood stain on sheet loud music till after 1:30 lots of shouting doors slamming ask for 2 forks said didn’t have no cutlery don’t get to sleep till 2:00 because of music shouting
Got there, roo..was so plane, freezing cold , blanket was thin. Did not stop, asked for.money to be put back on my card and they said i had to go through experian.. even though i payed it in there machine. The wall.paper was falli g of walls carpets were dirty. Eoukdnt recommand check in staff really un helpfull
Didnt offer a better room.
Booked this place after turning up to another hotel to be told there was no rooms despite me booking through Expedia. Even for 40 pounds per night this hotel was not worth it.
I arrived after a long day at work and a mess up afterwards (expedias fault). The 1st room had a big period stain on the bed, and it looked fresh by how red it was. Took photos showed the receptionist who was very nonchalant about it who gave me another room. This room then the bed was majorly broken to the base, third time lucky the room was average at best, long hairs in the shower that I had to clean before use. On the final day and night, the lights to my room stopped working and didn’t come back on. I checked out as early as I could. Extremely poor, even for 40 quid a night. Never felt comfortable or relaxed there at all.
I travel a lot and have stayed in hundreds of hotels yet this place stands out as the worst by a country mile! Damp, mouldy, dodgy electrics, knackered mattresses, the list goes on! The owners should be ashamed of themselves for charging people to stay in this absolute dive! I wouldn't wish a night in this 'hotel' on my worst enemy!
Plenty of parking but the car park needs a clean remnants of broken car window. Hotel is looking dated. The window was misty and an awful water stain on the ceiling with flaking paint. My 1st job was to Tesco new pillows and mattress cover. I don't think cleanliness is their strong point.
.
The hotel was so dirty , l had to change rooms 4 times. No hot water. Rooms seemed not to be cleaned for months and found ald used unwashed towels still in the tub
Our stay was ok (not brilliant). Was a little run down with wobbily stair bannisters. Room was ok, t.v. on wonky bracket that didn't move and again bathroom not very clean, toilet was balancing on bits of tiles so not fully screwed down and sink took a while to disperse when brushing your teeth etc. Towels were provided but don't expect them to cover your body lol. Only one pillow each on double bed no spare in cupboards or anything. But you get what you pay for.
I had read the reviews so did know what to expect.
The hotel was very tired and worn. Bedroom smelled very strongly of bleach when I opened the door so knew it had been cleaned. Bedding and towels fresh, white and spotless.
I know why the comments about staff varied from unfriendly to smiley as it varied on which staff were on duty!
There was no food at all but the Dudley Arms around the corner did daily breakfast and carvery meals so that was extremely handy.
Bed was clean, carpets stained n worn. TV does not work. Windows dirty. Door doesn't shut well.
Bath looks like its not been cleaned with thick scums n stains.
Very rundown inside rooms.
We were given room on ground floor initially but we did not feel safe n walls in room looked terrible. They gave us a room upstairs. Slightly better, but the kettle looked dirty n there was no chair in the room.
Although we booked for 2 nights and paid already, we were not comfortable with cleanliness n safety n checked out the same day.

The writeup is extremely misleading
Someone had broken the window of my car.
Good size room and comfy bed.
And nice staff.
Down fall to the room there was a 2 little blood stains on under bed sheet on a sheet and one of the windows had no lock so could be opened from either side.
Light switches was temperamental.
And 2 bugs in the room.
Bed sheets stank of pee In all honesty
