GREAT HOTEL!
Pros:

The hotel concept is great, we loved that it was an old school renovated. It is very cool decorated, we loved the rooms, bathrooms clean, the lobby beautiful, the outside porch with a fire so nice and elegant. Will stay here next time! And it is in downtown Denver in a nice area.

I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.
Pros:

The location was central, the room had everything needed and was very quiet.

Cons:

I had to ask for the promised water bottles and didn't bother on the 3rd day. Paper cups.

Clean easy fast stay
Pros:

Hotel was clean was immediately greated by lobby staff who were friendly and helpful beds were comfortable had a lot of towels which is a plus for me

Cons:

The complaint I would have is the GPS directions on how to get there lead to the opposite side of the building and to a one way that you can't enter so I had to try a few times to get to the vallet parking and also it's a bummer they don't offer free parking either fridge is at a preset setting and couldn't really get my drinks as cold as u would like and it took me a while to understand how to close the curtains lol

I'd stay in the Slate again
Pros:

The place is good looking and appears to be a hotel converted from a school or business. This gives it a quirky, original feel and layout. The bar and restaurant great. And the staff are friendly. Unexpectedly, the valet parking was the best I've experienced anywhere. Superfast and professional. That team gets very high marks.

Cons:

Small quibble: On the downside, the tickets for the breakfast ad-on are exceptionally limited and at check-in, the clerk didn't explain that the "included breakfast" had only three narrow options. Better would be to have a price-limit on the coupons that can either be applied to the existing inexpensive "yogurt and fruit" option OR $X off a different breakfast. The limits should be explained when including the tickets in the pockets with the room keys.

Right next to Bellco theater yay!!
Pros:

Perfect location with Bellco theater basically right across the street. Affordable price. Staff are super friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

Walking into the lobby is 2nd floor, and we thought we were on first floor, so a little confusing finding our room lol. Our room was by 12th street. Semi trucks like to park there and run their noisy truck all night. Next time I will ask for a room that isn't next to that street. I will definitely stay at this hotel again!
