The location was good, outside city hard so there were cafes and a burger place directly outside. There was also a restaurant attached to the hotel. I liked the security guard and cleaners as they were polite. Lobby smelled nice (unlike the room itself)
Worst 5 star hotel I’ve stayed in. Not worth 5 stars - book elsewhere! It was like a 3 star hotel at the price point of a 5 star hotel. Nothing about this hotel would make me think it was 5 stars. It wasn’t clean. It was noisy. The walls were thin. The room did not smell good, it was a non smoking room but did smell like either smoke or old wood, I’m not sure. The bathroom was also had a strange layout and was quite small. There was a divider between the toilet and the shower and then the sink was in the middle. It felt a bit suffocating and felt caged in when using the toilet. I felt really uncomfortable and was tempted to book a different hotel but had a paid a lot for this one and had a long stay so I decided to stay. There should also be an option to change the lighting to slightly less dim when required but due to how bad the overall experience with this hotel was, this didn’t affect my rating. I stayed for 9 nights and really regretted choosing this hotel, wish I had played it safe and went with a larger named brand one as Jeddah is not walkable and taxis would’ve been approximately the same journey regardless. Only positive of this hotel is the location. I would not recommend at all, can get better for the price point. Felt like a budget hotel except the lobby and outside area. Bad tv! Bad smell! Bad reception staff! Bad room! Suffocating bathroom!
