JW Marriott Hotel Guadalajara

This place is fantastic! The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and set a great mood for the meal.
The food was delicious, and I was especially impressed by how many vegan options they offer—there really is plenty to choose from.
The service is truly top-notch and some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Angel, Bryan, and Jose (along with the rest of the team) were extremely attentive, helpful, and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Debate at the agave restaurant for dinner our first night in the hotel. José was our waiter. He did an absolutely great job very courteous very attentive. Couldn’t enough to please us. I would definitely come back if I could get him as a server again.

We reserved a high-end Junior Suite at JW Marriott Guadalajara based on the photos and the expectation of a comfortable luxury experience consistent with the Marriott brand. At no point during the reservation process was it disclosed that this suite features full-frontal windows facing an extremely busy, high-traffic roadway.

It is currently 10:00 PM, and the level of traffic noise penetrating the suite is unacceptable and makes rest or sleep virtually impossible — even with the use of noise cancellation. This condition is not consistent with what a guest should reasonably expect when reserving a premium suite at a JW Marriott property.

Earlier this evening, I contacted the front desk to request a relocation to a quieter suite and was informed that there was a possible suite available on the 9th floor, subject to manager approval. A few minutes later, I was advised that the suite was no longer available. When I requested to speak directly with the manager on duty, I was told that he would call me back. No return call was received.

I then went to the front desk in person and was informed that the only alternative available was a standard room located at the rear of the hotel. After inspecting that room, I found it to be dark and not remotely comparable to the suite category we reserved and paid for.

Since then, our calls to the operator have been routed to voicemail, which is extremely disappointing and not reflective of the level of service expected at a JW Marriott property.

We will attempt once more tomorrow morning to resolve this matter with hotel management. However, if a comparable suite in a quieter location cannot be provided, we will have no choice but to relocate to Hyatt Regency Andares Guadalajara and will be seeking appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and disruption to our stay.

This hotel lives up to JW standards. The quality is excellent across the board, the service is outstanding, and the rooms are clean with very comfortable beds. As a Marriott Ambassador, I fully endorse it.

I recently stayed at the JW Marriott in Guadalajara and had a wonderful experience. The entire property is spotless, and the atmosphere is fantastic—upscale yet very welcoming. The food was also delicious!
I want to give a special thank you to Monica, who was incredibly helpful in resolving a small inconvenience I had in my room. She made sure I was well taken care of and handled the situation perfectly. It’s rare to find staff this attentive and professional.
