Everything was incredible amazing staff and place!
The property was absolutely breathtaking. The views are amazing. Great for a baby moon or an unplugged no social media space to recharge and connect. The bed feels like a cloud. Somehow I slept for 10 hours straight. It’s quite an peaceful.
I’m a pescatarian there weren’t that many food options for me at the restaurant but I had a car I was able to drive five minutes down the road to another restaurant. Also if you plan on traveling, there’s no Ubers you need a car.
Un lugar agradable, lleno de naturaleza.
How clean our glamping cabin was, friendly staff, view from glamping cabin
No hot water, even though they 'fixed' it. Everything is extra. Breakfast included, but only the cheapest mealmon the menu, no free filtered water, there is a busy road that is right in front of the glamping units & hotel that is used all night long and it rained during our stay and everything inside our room was damp and we had a few leaks in the glamping cabin too..
The staff was amazing. They were super nice, flexible and understanding. They were very helpful with our arrival and while we were staying there.
The location is superb, and the food and drinks options at the restaurant were really good too.
I think this is not a boutique hotel (as they refer themselves) but a glamping. We stayed at the bungalows and there’s not isolation, so it gets very hot during the day and very cold during night. The same applies to noise, since its quite easy to participate in the conversations the people staying at the bungalows next to you are having.
There are working in some improvements at the moment, I hope that includes a heater for the night and additional hot water (since it run put when we stayed there)
As everyone has said - the views are amazing. The dinner and breakfast are also great. Also Carolina at the front desk is super helpful and friendly!
If you’ve never been at a mountain facility - it can get rather windy at night. The shutters don’t really block all the breeze from seeping through.
Also it’s near by another location which sounds more of a party spot and you can hear them be load through out the night. But maybe that was just the case for when I stayed.
A minor note, the shower is fine however I wish they had a longer shower curtain. It really goes down maybe a little more than half your calf. So when you shower the water splashes around the floor since it’s in a concave square in the bathroom
The views were amazing, especially at sunset and sundown. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Nice, comfy bed. Cozy and lovely-smelling towels and robes. Great selection for the delicious complimentary breakfast!
1- We arrived at 3:30 pm and the heat inside the room was unbearable. Understandable given that the sun was beaming down directly on the tin roof, but if they could maybe open the windows/glass doors before one arrives, that might cool the cabin down somewhat
2- the toilets did have a slight, faint smell of urine. That was very disappointing
3- The heat, again, was too much from 9 am onwards, and we had to leave before the checkout time because it was no longer comfortable to lounge inside, while the deck has no umbrella or covering of any kind to shield from the sun
It's a nice place to sleep, but you can't really enjoy the place for the whole day
I love the view to the volcano and the
best place todo clamping
and delicious food in the restaurant because breakfast is included .
The area is surrounded by lush green landscapes, coffee plantations, and panoramic views of volcanoes like Izalco and Ilamatepec.
The cooler climate and peacefully environment make it an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
There are no English speakers to communicate with foreigners. In my case there was no problem at all, as I am native Spanish speaker so I was constantly translating for my friend.
Awesome location in the mountains and the view is to die for. Incredible staff who genualy cares about you and tries their best even if we didn’t speak spanish. Also 10/10 to the restaurant and de staff working there. The king beds were one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in.
The cottage was a bit cold in the evening/night because of the wind. It was hard to sleep due to hard winds.
The view, the food and service at Restaurant were amazing! Francisco at restaurant went above and beyond! The appearance of the facility well kept and maintained!!
No heaters anywhere and although the sheets were clean my mattress smelled in saturated urine!! We paid $50 extra to add a bed in our room. And no discount for the inconvenience of the urinated mattress.
Gorgeous views.
Breakfast was awesome!
Pupusas need some work. The taste was not that good.
We love the location and the staff.
The walk to the Glamping cabañas was a bit difficult if one is carrying luggage. An option would be to have a cart that can navigate through the gravel. Additionally, I would have been nice to have lamps lighting the path.
The breakfast was good. However, we ordered pupusas for dinner; these need some attention. The consistency and taste was poor.
