The friendly Staff only
With all due respect to the friendly and helpful front desk staff, this review is dedicated to the hotel owner. Here’s a quick rundown of the pros and cons without going into too
- The curtain is busted and torn.
- The safe doesn’t work because they locked it. I asked multiple times for it to be fixed or replaced. The first day, they promised to send a technician, but the second day, they said they fixed it, but they didn’t.
- The shower head doesn’t work in all three rooms I booked. In one room, they sent someone to fix it, but in the others, they didn’t.
- The bed is not a king bed as they claim. It’s actually two separate beds placed together, one higher than the other, and it’s absolutely uncomfortable, especially when they don’t match.
- The pillows smell awful like dirty hair. The cleaning lady doesn’t change them daily, nor the bed sheets—she just reorganizes them.
- The door is very hard to open and loud to close.
- The carpets are all stained and dirty with holes.
- The breakfast hall has a nasty smell, and the breakfast itself is cold and nasty.
- There’s a party every night, even though we were on the 7th floor, and we still heard every drum and sound.
- The breakfast hall/restaurant is on top of us, so every night starting from 1 AM, we hear banging and things falling.
- The rooms smell of sewage.
- The bidet is pretty far from the toilet, so you have to stretch or try hard to use it.
- The walls are definitely not soundproof as they claim; you can hear whoever is next to you move, laugh, shower, etc.
- The AC is busted and old.
- The bathrobe is torn out, stained, and dirty, just like the towels.
- We ordered food and drinks, but we got the food after an hour, and the drinks came after the food.
The staff and service genuinely stood out. Manager Nijat and the front desk team are warm, fluent in English, and go beyond what is expected. On my last day, I accidentally left my watch behind — it had fallen into the gap of the elevator shaft rushing to my flight. I left my contact with the front desk not knowing what to expect. They retrieved it, coordinated everything, and we laughed about the whole story together. That kind of care is rare and memorable.
The gym is impressive for a hotel of this category — well equipped and properly maintained. Finnish style sauna with rocks and an independent steam bath room are serious bonuses. Breakfast selection is good with a nice city view from the 8th floor. The hammam and spa experience was surprisingly excellent and great value..
They also allowed me to check in before 12nn!
My upgraded room (3014) faced a construction wall. The room felt dark and slightly stuffy. The door was stiff to open and close and the bathroom faucet direction was off. The bar/coffee shop downstairs is a nice concept but some cocktails on the menu are not executed well. Room interiors are dated — old carpet, wallpaper and furniture — though this is consistent with the hotel's character and price point so not entirely unexpected.

Location is excellent.
Accommodation is very good.
Service and assistance is excellent
Buffet breakfast has such a good variety of dishes.
Reception always helpful.
Special on massage well worth it.
No kettle plug socket on the TV counter.
Maybe use an extension cable ?
Had to boil the kettle on the bedside table.
