My go to Oslo hotel now
Pros:

A superb hotel. A few small issues with service and details but all resolved very quickly.

Room beautiful and v comfy, excellent location. Lovely staff.

Cons:

The hot food at breakfast cooked to order thing doesn’t work so well when it’s v busy

Beautiful building, fabulous service and amazing breakfast.
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful and characterful, the staff were friendly and efficient, breakfast was absolutely spectacular in every way, getting around was very easy with tram and bus stops right outside the hotel. The pool and spa was stylish and quiet. The rooftop pool and sauna was fabulous - it was an extra charge, but worth it!

Cons:

There were a couple of chargeable things which I felt the hotel could have signposted better. The rooftop pool and sauna is an extra charge, which only becomes apparent when you actually book a slot. It was worth the money, but I felt they should have been more open about the extra charges on the website as it set an expectation that they didn't meet. There was also a facemask in the bathroom which turned out to be chargeable - there was a label on it (who reads those?!), but I don't expect to pay for things in the bathroom - it somehow felt underhand!

Excellent stay in a historic venue.
Pros:

Location and staff excellent. The car was valet parked with such consumate ease and no stress at all.
Good breakfast options including gluten free.
A fee optional extras can be booked such as a timed slot for rooftop pool and sauna.

Fint sted. Men dessverre fungerte ikke air condition på rommet så det ble utrolig klamt og varmt der.. samtidig som det ikke var noe isbitmaskin i etasjen vi bodde

Fikk også dobbelt dyne noe som ble urolig varmt og klamt når det allerede var veldig varmt på rommet.. forsøkte å ringe ned til betjeningen for å høre om flere dyner men fikk dessverre ikke svar

Excellence in hospitality, a must stay
Pros:

the staff at the hotel were excellent, professional, proactive and accommodating. Really excellent. The design of the hotel is stunning, the brasserie has a brilliant vibe and the food was good. The sauna was great and the breakfast to go was really tasty. I will definitely come back.

Cons:

Having to leave. the hotel is fantastic.

Pros:

Very grand throughout and really comfortable rooms. Staff v helpful & friendly. Dining great especially the breakfast options. Excellent facilities including spa swimming pools & sauna. Great gym. Easy access to transport (team & bus stop outside; train station nearby).

Form over substance
Pros:

Bon petit déjeuner meme si l’espace dédié était un peu étroit. Petit déjeuner varié avec des produits locaux.

Cons:

Le sourire du personnel le matin. Certains très bien, d’autre un peu fatigués ou blasés. Hôtel bling bling qui favorise la forme sur la substance. Le service est minimaliste, à quelques exceptions près.

L’hôtel semble attiré pas mal d’americains qui sont très particuliers, avec peu de manieresavec des valeurs et une attitude de privilégiés.
