The rooms are very comfortable. The bed is great.
We had amazing views to the church.
A very random and unimportant but mentionable detail is that we were not able to watch tv from a streaming platform. We could see national tv or pay for movie rental.
El servicio de restauración (especial mención a André que nos atendió de maravilla), la amabilidad del personal que nos ayudó en todo momento que necesitamos, la limpieza y los detalles de la habitación.
Parking incómodo para meter un coche grande, tienes que bajar en un ascensor y maniobrar en exceso.
A 20’ en coche del centro histórico.
La ubicación exacta del hotel no es bonita para ser un 5*. Está a 10 minutos andando del Barrio de Belem, donde hay monumentos y jardines, pero las calles colindantes al hotel, y concretamente la calle a la que daba nuestra habitación, era muy fea, repito, para ser un 5*.
Te retienen 60€ por día, en concepto de “imprevistos”.
Los termostatos del Spa: la sauna demasiado fría y el baño turco demasiado caliente.

Location seems to be a bit out of the centre of things - was fine for us, but depends what you’re planning to do. About 20 mins in a cab to centre of town. Great botanical garden at base of hill as well as some small bars and cafes.
The overhead shower makes it hard to take a shower and not wash your hair at same time (annoying for those of us with long hair). There is a hand held shower but no hook for it.
Be warned - shower cubicle is glass and kind of in middle of room - fine if you’re sharing with partner, maybe not if with a mate!

The rooms are so beautiful and the location is perfect. Also I had the best breakfast and dinner during my stay. The staff is the most friendly I have ever met and very service minded.
The check in time 16:00 is very late. Especially if a guest arrives early the waiting time is too long.
