Nice staff. Clean. Nice breakfast.
Noise. There is a bar and restaurant on the floors above our 6th floor room. The bass from the bar shook our walls at 10 PM.
No shower. Instead you have to take a bath.
The bed was hard.
We loved the breakfast. French toast four days in a row. Service was prompt and friendly. The room was large. There were many restaurants within the hotel for dining. Staff was knowledgeable. Room was clean.
Location was great if you are taking a cruise.
More attention is needed to address the safety of guests. The rugs in the reception area are dangerous. My friend tripped and fell. He was cut on the arm. Your staff jumped up with a kit to stop the bleeding which was good. But This should never ever have happened. The rugs need to be firmly secured or carpeted wall to wall. The elevator services are inadequate. People pack the elevator with luggage, leaving senior citizens to hike up the floors to their rooms. Not good.
It was a really good location very close to the cruise terminal and very close to everything else because it's in the city centre. (That means that compared to hotels further afield you save a small fortune on taxis alone because transportation is extremely expensive in Tahiti and public transport is scarcely available and slow.) My room was very spacious, modern, clean, and had a little kitchenette.
I think the Ocean view is a little bit overrated. my room with ocean view was at the top floor (at least where rooms are) and most of ocean view was blocked by the ferry terminal
