I enjoyed my stay! And I may book into the Lodge next time I go to the Bay. The price is right!
Pros:

Location is great! Service and staff were pleasant and the motel is one of the most affordable in Batemans Bay. It is in a great spot with beautiful river scenery immediately behind it, as well as very close in front. The motel restaurant is good and was busy with happy families while I was there. This motel is literally only 5 minutes walk to Woolworths and 3 other cafes/restaurants. And it's only a few minutes further to the famous Boatshed fish and chips shop!

Cons:

The rooms are showing just a few little signs of wear (such as slightly peeling paint on the window frames and a bare patch inside the front door where the door lock had been replaced) - although the suite was still neat and comfortable. The daily cleaning service is good-ish rather than great. They were working hard during full occupancy in the school holidays. The tea cups on the refreshment tray were not properly washed on one day of my stay and were also not dried. It only took me a minute to fix that. The toilet was cleaned each day - but it was still obvious to me that the cleaner was not brushing all the way down into the S-bend.

Disappointing but will try again in a few months
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Location was good. Staff were helpful and caring.

Cons:

Bathroom floor was not clean.
Bathroom ceiling covered in black mold and peeling paint. New owner stated that they are halfway through repainting the rooms and fitting exhaust fans in the bathrooms.

The room had an unpleasant smell to it . There was no extra rolls of toilet paper . The fridge didn’t have freezer in the top off the fridge .

Cons:

We have stayed here a couple of time before it’s in a great spot close to everything.

Clean, well located, average to good.

Good.
Pros:

The staff helped with providing a microwave oven for temporary use for after hours as we had a 1 year old that needed feeding after hours.

Cons:

There was a bit of stench in the lounge area when the air con was turned on. Like dry piss. But the rooms did not smell.The washroom also had a damaged window screen and we couldn't open the windows for ventilation.

A good spot for a night or twos stay!
Pros:

Enjoyed being right across from the water and having the river out the back. Car park infront of our room.

Cons:

The sink tap handles were to close to the wall, difficult to turn on and off.
