Sensational room. The room was beautiful and clean and the bed was so comfortable. This is our second stay and we will definitely be back!! Staff are so friendly as well, a credit to their work place.
Lift had broken down and it was wonderful to have the reception staff call me prior to our stay to let us know. As a holiday rental manager myself its the small things that make the biggest difference to a guest stay!

Well serviced on bus route but getting home late after WOMAD was difficult (I ended up walking)
It wasn't a hotel room because it was only serviced once a week (this wasnt clear in the booking), it wasn't an apartment because there was no microwave or crockery.
Strangely there were only children's clothes hangers - fortunately the young man at the desk found me a few larger ones from the laundry, but still not enough.
Bed was very uncomfortable - king size but single underlays kept bunching up, sheets too heavy, doona too hot.
Room temp difficult to manage
Black mug had milk ring which I couldn't clean off without a scrubber - I didnt notice until after I drank out if it

no refreshed towels over 5 days. Shower spray leaks out across full bathroom floor.
Great location, affordable, friendly staff, clean comfortable accommodation and pet friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend, especially to anyone travelling with a dog.
The size and design of the bathroom/laundry made moving around tight and it was difficult to prevent shower water from spilling out onto the bathroom floor.

Booking.com taking its large cut and then charging us a foreign currency transfer fee for a local motel …will not use booking.com again
