Neuchatel City Hotel

Good location. Staff were not friendly. Beds were not comfortable. The hotel seemed tired.

Nice property. Some amenties missing such as hair dryer and face clothes. Breakfast cost very high.

The room was nice and spacious, clean and beds were comfortable, however with no air-conditioning available it was extremely warm and quite uncomfortable. If you left the windows open, there was no breeze and all you heard was the city noise which was loud and very difficult to sleep.

Hotel is situated close to the old town center, on the street going to train station, however well isolated from street noise; the room we rented was huge , the largest we rented in our vacation in Switzerland , with plenty of storage, two desks with chairs; bed was also big and comfortable; even the bathroom had plenty of storage ; room had also an extra space a closed balcony with a table and two chairs . From our room we could not see the lake Geneve but the receptionist recommended a lounge area with a terrace from where we took pictures of the lake ; that area has sofas , coffee tables and chairs to accommodate even a big group of people .
Staff was friendly and gave us the possibility to log an to an application for free public transportation and a lot of promotions to different historical places , museums and attractions; we took advantage and went on a two hour cruise on the lake . Neuchatel is beautiful, full of charm and we regret not having booked more days at this hotel and this town

Zimmer alt und nicht sauber, Kopfkissen aus Schaumstoff, Tresor blockiert, Nachttischlampe defekt. Bettwäsche schmutzig, Zimmervorhänge alt und dreckig, riechen abgestanden.
Das Bad alt und abgeschossen, kein Dusche, Haarföhn defekt. Vor allem jedoch KEIN ZIMMERSERVICE - KEINE NEUEN HANDTÜCHER, KEIN BETTEN MACHEN, KEINE REINIGUNG - dies ist im Preis nicht inbegriffen - Auskunft der Rezeption.
Das Frühstück ist die Fr. 19.50 nicht wert. Nur Baguette und Gipfeli, viel vorverpackte Ware, Auswahl klein und ohne Abwechslung - nach 3 Tagen schon langweilig.
Fazit: Preis nicht wert - nicht zuempfehlen

Zimmer gross, Einrichtungen alt, TV teilweise nur mit gepixelten Bild. Tresor war geschlossen. Lage nicht wie im Bild, sondern an sehr lauter Strasse.

Zimmer ok, kein Zimmerservice, niemand der das Frühstück kontrolliert hat

Es ist ein gutes und ruhiges Hotel. Praktisch nah am Bahnhof und Stadt. Die Zimmer sind ziemlich groß und unser Zimmer war sauber

Schmutzige Maueren im Zimmer und im Badezimmer. Basic Möbel. Da es keine Klimaanlage gab, war der Straßenlärm nachts sehr laut und wir mussten bei offenem Fenster schlafen.

Le petit-déjeuner était vraiment délicieux, et cela m'a évité de devoir chercher un restaurant dans les environs, ce qui m'a beaucoup aidé. Comme l'hôtel se trouveait près de la gare, je n'ai pas eu besoin de prendre un taxi. En revanche, l'enregistrement n'était possible qu'à partir de 16 heures et il n'y avait pas de service en chambre. Pour changer les serviettes, il suffisait de le demander à la réception et on m'en donnait de nouvelles. Dans l'ensemble, je suis très satisfait.

Accueil froid.
Les chambres des années 50. Salle de bain rouillée, des araignées... Sans clim ni ventilateur. Du coup hyper chaud. Sous les fenêtres des moteurs de ventilations... Mais sûrement pour ailleurs... Bruits de fond, comme dans un avion 24/24. Parking sal et non sécurisé. Je cherche un point positif.... Je ne vois pas.

This hotel is super practical when you come to the NIFFF. It is close to the cinemas and to restaurants. It is perfect to rest a few hours before going back to the festival. The only minor issue is that the bedding is getting a bit old, hence the beds are not super comfortable. Appart from that it is perfect.

Plutôt très moyen, des traces dans les toilettes en arrivant.
