On my return to Palm Springs with my Wife, I would stay again at the Holiday Inn Express.
Pros:

The cleanliness, location, comfort during my stay was absolutely fantastic. I got a room with a good view of the St Jacinto peak. The keys and access was seamless and Wifi was decent as well.

Cons:

Breakfast was nice but could do with a bit more vegetarian options.

My reason for being was to attend an event at Acrisure Arena. Holiday serve us well being only 1.1 miles away.
Pros:

My wife and I had a great time at this hotel. It was close to the Acrisure Arena.

Great location. Clean, comfortable and good breakfast.

The hostess at breakfast was very nice and attentive. Breakfast was very good as was the presentation. Great location off I-10. Would stay again.

Cons:

Unfortunately, there was confusion at check-in with regard to our room type, which was could have been avoided had the front desk been better familiar with the hotel’s room types. We checked-in shortly after 5pm and were told that a Mobility Accessible Room with Tub was not available, and that Booking.com had changed our request for a Hearing Impaired room.

We did not know the difference between a Hearing Impaired and a Mobility Accessible room, but nor did the clerk. He asked if we wanted to see the room first, but saw no point since he told us no other rooms were available. He said Booking.com must have changed our request, which is ridiculous, because if anyone did, it would have been the hotel.

Our main reason for requesting an Accessible Room was because my 86 year old mother had recently fallen on her face in Mexico. We drove from Arizona to San Diego to pick her up, and then drove to Palm Desert to be greeted with this confusion. The other reason for for requesting an Accessible Room was to make sure the bathroom was safe, preferably with a walk-in shower. Thankfully, in the end, our room came with a walk-in shower, but without the handles or a chair inside the shower.

On a positive note, the hostess at breakfast was very nice and attentive. Breakfast was very good as was the presentation.
