Cleanliness and food

Hands down the best hotel experience we’ve had in China having travelled quite a bit. Despite the cold climate of Harbin, we felt great warmth from the entire team - starting with senior hotel management to the waiting staff in the restaurants and bars.

We were in Harbin for the Snow and Ice world and stayed here having heard great reviews from friends. We chose a Club room and that was a great decision. The Lounge team made us feel very at home.

I would highly recommend the Ritz Carlton Harbin as THE place to stay when you’re in town!

I had a phenomenal trip to Harbin! Thank you do their wonderful staff by the name of Rohit. He was on top-tier communication from weeks expired to my landing. Ensuring every single one of my questions were answered in meticulous detail details. Helping me plan everything to the T! He helped me plan my entire routing, traveling gear (as it was going to be my first time in -24 weather) he helped with Transport arrange arrangement and everything you could imagine making ensure everything was perfectly sorted. It was the most comforting feeling to meet someone who could speak English in Harbin.

On another note that Ritz Carlton Harbin, was also amazing - one of the newer ones; comparable to with this architectural style. Modern and comfortable!! The Chinese restaurant up was also very good.

Our stay at The Ritz Carlton in Harbin was amazing. The room and view was spectacular, the service was impeccable and the concierge team were among the best at any Ritz hotel I have stayed in globally. A special shout out to Charles from the concierge team who took such amazing care of our travel plans and tours - he really went above and beyond in planning us an exclusive private day with translators, snow activities, skiing etc - the best Ritz Carlton concierge staff I have ever dealt with.

breakfast is excellent and many item food

Harbin is a magical place, especially in winter, when the outside temperature can easily drop to minus 40 °C. Warmth, however, can be found inside the glorious Ritz-Carlton Hotel, which towers above the magnificently frozen Songhua River. Harbin is a city of over ten million people, and as such has a discerning local population who know what they want and expect the best. The Ritz-Carlton, Harbin delivers this at every level. Arriving late on a wintry night, we were immediately escorted to our room on the 54th floor, which afforded stunning vistas across the frozen landscape and the magnificent Ice Park. Seeing the city revealed the scale of Harbin, which surprised me as a first-time visitor. The rooms are beautiful, furnished with high-quality fixtures and an indulgent bathroom with cascading rain showers and, a delight for me, a bath that one can fully submerge in without having to bend oneself in two. The rubber duck and bath salts only made it more enjoyable. For a more energetic submersion, the hotel's pool offers more stunning views, especially as the morning sun rises, casting your own shadow on the bottom of the pool as you complete your morning laps. Of course, high-quality hardware is expected at any Ritz-Carlton; it is, after all, a five-star product. Where The Ritz-Carlton, Harbin shines is in service. General Manager Ksenia Novikova knows how to make guests feel welcome and ensure her team offers the level of service one would expect in Beijing, Paris or London. From breakfast to the wonderful array of delicacies served in the lounge, service is at the heart of every encounter. If, like me, your Putonghua is not flawless, the staff will speak English with a proficiency that makes one's attempts in Mandarin quite embarrassing! Breakfast is served on the 54th floor and features a vast array of local, Chinese and international cuisine. Indulge yourself with the freshly made Jīdàn Hànbǎo (鸡蛋汉堡), which I challenge anyone to stop at just one; they are divine. Evenings can be spent at Manor 54 or, if you have access, at the Club floor, which offers evening meals, afternoon teas, and the expected array of drinks and snacks. On the 56th floor is the hotel's stunning bar and party area, Flair. This is where you can sip a perfectly made Negroni and watch the sunset over Harbin, a city that enchants you with its magnificence and embraces you with the friendliness and warmth of its people. The Ritz-Carlton will ensure that your every need is catered to, reflecting the pride they take in their hotel and in Harbin.

This stay far exceeded our expectations—it absolutely deserves a five-star review! From the moment we stepped out of the car, the bellhop proactively helped with our luggage and ushered us to the front desk. A special shout-out to Haylee, who checked us in with a warm smile. Learning that it was our first time in Harbin, she not only processed our check-in efficiently but also kindly marked nearby restaurants and attractions on a map for us. That instantly made us feel the warmth of the city. Such attentive and thoughtful service is truly the best testament to the hotel's quality.

The view is amazing

Our family of four loved our 3 nights at the Ritz Carlton Harbin in late December 2025. We stayed in two club rooms. The rooms were very large and beautifully appointed. The food and the drink offerings in the club lounge were absolutely delicious. Because we were out touring all day we could only use the breakfast and evening service but there was so much food and the food was wonderful quality. They even had a chef on hand to cook certain items as you requested. The gym, while on the smaller side, was well equipped and my husband said the indoor pool was one of the best hotel pools he has ever swam in. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. I particularly want to mention the concierge team and in particular Rohit Chana. Rohit patiently and promptly answered my many emails/questions before our arrival and provided lots of helpful information. When our arrival flight had to be changed, he was very responsive in changing our transfers to the hotel from the airport. He was on hand to greet us when we arrived and even called the company who was delivering the winter clothes we were hiring to see what time the clothes would be delivered. Thank you Rohit for making our stay was special. If ever we return to Harbin, we will definitely stay at the Ritz Carlton again.

We stayed in the club room (Rm5226 Jan 10-13,2026) during our trip to Harbin. The room was very spaces and have a great view of the river and city. Location wise though it is not in the middle of the town but it is just a short taxi ride away or 2 station away to the subway interchange from the nearest station (line 3) which is about 8-10 mins walk. Club room came with multiple complementary meals such as breakfast, light lunch, afternoon tea, evening canopies and night cordial.

Most importantly the great service we got from Echo and David were exceptional. Especially, David who helped us to made multiple restaurants bookings and relevant transport arrangements.

It was my first time in Harbin, and staying at The Ritz-Carlton Harbin made the trip feel extra special. From the moment I arrived, everything felt smooth and well taken care of according to my preferences. Huge thanks to Rohit for helping arrange transfers to/from the hotel and for the room upgrade.. it was such a nice surprise!!

The room view was incredible. Having panoramic windows overlooking the city made it easy to just sit back and enjoy Harbin from above, especially as the city changed from daytime to night. Breakfast was another highlight.. not only was the food great, but starting the day with those views made it even better.

I also really loved the facilities. The gym and wellness area on the top floor are fantastic, and the pool and jacuzzi are absolutely worth checking out. Relaxing there while looking out over the city was one of my favorite moments of the stay.

If you’re coming to Harbin, this hotel is a great choice and won’t disappoint. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the hotel itself. Hopefully, next time :)
