The location
I didn’t like absolutely everything about the concept of this hotel. First of all, the whole idea behind it. Calling it “eco-friendly” while simply cutting costs at the guest’s expense is complete nonsense. One bottle of water for an entire three-night stay is ridiculous. There were only two tiny towels, no proper hand towel, and no decent bath towel. Instead of providing water in the room, there’s a shared dispenser in the hallway, making the place feel more like an office than a hotel.
The fact that there’s no breakfast at all is another strange decision. I’m not someone who eats a lot in the morning, but having a coffee and a simple breakfast is part of the hotel experience. Considering I paid around 170,000 KZT for three nights, the value for money just isn’t there. For this price, there are much better hotels in Almaty.
Even the light switches and power outlets are placed in the weirdest possible locations. It honestly feels like they should have shoved them even deeper into the guest’s ass to save a few more cents. Maybe then guests could generate alternative energy with their own gas and charge their phones for free.
Overall, everything feels unnecessarily inconvenient. It’s a concept designed to save money for the hotel, not to make guests comfortable. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.
I liked everything about the property
It was nicely located, however, the water drainage in the wash room was defective . Washroom water was also hazy and contaminated.
