I would also like to recognize two staff members who helped improve our experience.
First, I would like to sincerely thank a female staff member named Magda. After the earlier confusion regarding the flower bouquets, she took the initiative to help. Within just a few minutes, she contacted her colleagues and checked the information provided by the flower delivery messenger. After making a few inquiries, she simply opened a storage cabinet and located the bouquet. Thanks to her willingness to investigate and assist, my daughter was ultimately able to receive a very meaningful graduation gift from her friends. I am truly grateful for her professionalism, kindness, and problem-solving attitude.
I would also like to thank a male staff member working the night shift, whose name I unfortunately did not catch. When we reported the bathroom drainage problem and unpleasant odor coming from the drain, he responded professionally and did his best to assist us. He provided immediate help and advised us on arranging a room change the following day. His willingness to help during an inconvenient situation was greatly appreciated.
These two staff members demonstrated the level of customer service and professionalism that guests would expect from a hotel. Their efforts deserve recognition and appreciation.
The hotel is in a good location, and overall most of the staff provided good service. However, I was disappointed by the experience I had with some of the male reception staff, whose language and communication style were unprofessional.
During my daughter’s graduation trip, her friends sent flower bouquets to congratulate her and left them at the hotel. When my daughter asked about them, the staff informed her that the flowers could only be kept for about 10 minutes before they would have to be discarded because the pollen might cause allergies for other guests. Fortunately, the flowers had not yet been thrown away at that time.
Later, when we inquired about another bouquet, the staff simply replied that they did not know, could not find it, and had not seen it, without making any effort to investigate further or provide assistance. They also stated that any items left at the hotel by visitors would be discarded immediately at midnight. I have traveled extensively and stayed in many hotels around the world, but I have never encountered this kind of communication or service before. As a result, I was extremely disappointed.
In addition, there was an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom drain in the room, and water was backing up. What disappointed me most was not only the physical issues with the rooms, but also the lack of professionalism and willingness to assist when concerns were raised. A simple effort to check, investigate, or communicate more courteously would have made a significant difference.
I hope the hotel will take this feedback seriously and improve both staff training and room maintenance standards, so that future guests can enjoy a better experience
