Pros:

Hotel Indigo Karuizawa offers EXCEPTIONAL value for what it offers. I was looking for a perfect weekend to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday and the choice of this place was spot on. SPA by HARNN offers exceptional treatments at very reasonable prices. What is more, staff and the therapists are super welcoming, so it is so easy to relax and enjoy yourself. Additionally, wonderful onsen at the premises offers both indoors and outdoors basins, sauna and cold plunge, which allows for relaxation even if you don't plan to use the SPA treatments.
Hotel staff was very kind and helpful and if you don't speak Japanese, they got you covered as all the staff we met offered communication in English (which was not needed, but still worth praising).
Breakfast buffet offered wide selection of food and it is super easy to find something for yourself whether you crave savory or sweet things.
Dinner at the restaurant was also very enjoyable, with decent choice of dishes.
Also, hotel itself is beautifully designed so it's that's another thing that elevates the overall experience when you stay there.

I would highly recommend Hotel Indigo Karuizawa if you look for weekend retreat (or longer stay) to catch some breath, enjoy onsen and SPA and charge your batteries in the beautifully designed place.

Cons:

TWO MINOR THINGS.
Some dishes at the restaurant was priced a little bit to high for what they offered (for example, current Neapolitan pizza should be cheaper or should be better and stay at the same price - for 2700JPY you can eat top Margherita pizza in Tokyo - the one served, was tasty, but was not worth that much).

Coffee machine (by Illy) was kinda poor, splashing water all over the place, producing very small and not super tasty coffee. It's a shame as the room and all other amenities were superb, so this tiny things throws a bit of an unnecessary shadow on that. Maybe bullet-proof nespresso would be better or a kettle and high quality coffee in disposable pour-over bags.

施設的にはまた泊まりたいくらいよかったです！スタッフさんのサービスがより良くなるといいなと思います。

Cons:

最後、清算の際金額が間違っており、多く請求されており、非常に残念でした。
またサービスで出していただたプレートの子供の名前が少し違っていました。
