It was really cool to stay on such high floors. Our two rooms were not really anywhere near each other and they didn't do much to remedy that. The pool and gym were really nice, with great service, but the area around the pool (which is supposed to be a bar) seems unused/let go. The room was very comfortable and clean, but had some poor design choices such as light switch placement and lack of towel bars. Overall, I thought this hotel delivered an excellent value for the price offered on Expedia!

Luxury in the clouds
Pros:

This hotel is located in the tallest building in Nanning. Our room was on the 77th floor and had amazing views with the floor to ceiling windows. Centrally located, it is easy to find and launch to other attractions. There is a mall attached at the base for shopping and dining. The breakfast buffet is on the 5th floor and had lots of selection. The front desk spoke a little English, enough to get by. The lobby is absolutely gorgeous.

Fantastic and memorable experience!!
Pros:

The guestroom's anniversary setup and the whole service journey showcased exceptional attentiveness and thoughtfulness. The celebration-enhancing setup, along with a festive cake and wine setup, made the stay memorable.

Exceeding expectations, amazing value
Pros:

Far exceeded expectations. Service quality was top notch, and the rooms were impeccable. New, apparently opened just last year.

Tremendous value - a stay here was the fraction of the price at Shangrila hotels in other countries.

Jaw dropping views. Excellent proximity to QingXiuShan mountain. If visiting with kids, don’t forget to check out the awesome jungle playground at QingXiuShan

Perfect Hospitality
Pros:

At the heart of the city, Shangri-La is an ideal place to stay in Nanning. The experience I had was excellent. Staff, food, rooms are are at their best. Easy access to any transportation mode including taxies, busses or underground railway. There are number of shopping malls nearby. I enjoyed the stay and highly recommend the place for who are visiting Nanning city.

Impeccable hospitality in Guangxi
Pros:

Shangri-La Nanning served us with an impeccable international premium service in local Guangxi China. We opted for the Horizon Premier Room which gave us a beautiful panoramic view of the Nanning City. The hotel is decorated in a next-generation modern Shangri-la style which is inspiringly and beautifully different from the outgoing design.

Aside from the property being the tallest in the group, what amazed us was the heartwarming and detail-minded services from the Horizon Club Lounge team. Expect passionate staff who would happily greet and serve you at the lounge during breakfast or the evening. Upon our check-in, Rose showed her passion in the city and could not wait to show us some of the landmarks from the windows of our room on the 87/F. She has since been checking on us to make sure everything we needed was catered.

We would spend our mornings and evenings at the lounge, where we would be delighted to meet Lynn and Nina serving us with food and wine. They would remember our special requests and take initiatives prepare us the same items the next day we visit the lounge. Knowing that this was our first visit to the area, Lynn would share with us some local cuisines we can get for a more immersive local experience.

Special thanks to General Manager Richard, and the Horizon Club Team for the special memorable experience. We were glad the Shangri-La hospitality was extended to this commercial city of Guangxi.
