Pros:

The hotel was excellent- the rooms were clean and spacious, the furnishings were good, and the private pool was comfortable. We ordered room service and received tasty food. The hotel staff were very kind and extremely helpful. Breakfast was good, and the pool by the sea was really beautiful and pleasant.

Cons:

The mosquitoes absolutely destroyed us. We were forced to hide in the room for most of the vacation and it really cast a shadow over our entire holiday. Even when we swam in the private pool we got bitten on the face and on all exposed parts of the body. We traveled to other places in Thailand and encountered mosquitoes there too, but never on this level.

Superbe établissement
Pros:

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Melia
Nous avons eu la chance de profiter d’un surclassement en suite avec piscine.
Les suites sont immenses , à la décoration soignée très bien équipées.
L’établissement est très beau, très végétalisé, très agréable. Avec 2 belles piscines et l’accès direct à la plage.
La proposition du petit déjeuner est de qualité le restaurant Gaia également.

Pros:

Очень понравилась наша вилла. Небольшая, но очень уютная. Чистота и уборка на высоте. Грамотный персонал и очень вежливый. Хорошие завтраки.

Pros:

Отличная вилла с бассейном и стильным интерьером. Хорошая уборка. Территория довольно большая, нет ощущения многолюдности. Рядом конечно вокруг ничего нет, зато на пляже мало людей, никаких зонтиков на песке, красивая природа и море. Особенно закаты. На территории два ресторана, ужинали в них. Было вкусно

Pros:

We had a pleasant stay at Meliá Mai Khao overall. The breakfast selection was nice, with a good variety of options and quality ingredients. The staff were attentive and polite throughout our visit.

However, we experienced a delay when ordering eggs from the live station. It took quite a long time for the order to arrive, even after we informed the staff that we needed to leave by a certain time. While the team was friendly and tried to assist, there seemed to be a language barrier that may have caused some misunderstanding.

The hotel also offers bikes for rent, which was a nice touch, although the rental period is limited to two hours.

On our last day, Beam truly went above and beyond to assist us, which definitely improved our overall outlook of the stay. Their extra effort and kindness made a big difference and left us with a much more positive final impression.

Cons:

The hotel is quite far from town, which made transportation challenging. Many taxis would cancel, and at times we had to pay almost double just to get back to the hotel. This made getting around inconvenient and added unexpected costs to our stay.

The outdoor showers were also not ideal for us. There wasn’t enough mosquito repellent provided, and there were several occasions when we called to request mosquito fumigation. Unfortunately, due to what seemed like a language barrier, our requests were not always clearly understood. After long days out, we found ourselves worrying about mosquito bites, which took away from the relaxing, luxury experience we were hoping for.

Another issue we experienced was with the hotel buggy service. On several occasions, the buggy would arrive and leave almost immediately without waiting even a couple of minutes, unless we called reception again. There were times when we had already requested a buggy, but by the time we arrived at the pickup point, it had already left. This made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. Additionally, some of the buggy drivers were not particularly friendly, which further affected the overall experience.

Additionally, while the beach is beautiful, the waves can be very strong, which may not be ideal for those looking for calm swimming conditions.
